Short Branch Saloon — Restaurant in Neenah

I went there for the first time to watch a Packers game with my son today. I saw that they created an event under the Facebook events and decided to check ot out. It said to bring something to eat to share. I brought chili cheese dogs. After everyone had ate, i had to take my son home because he wasn't feeling good (he's 13). I asked if I could come back and pick up all the stuff I brought along with whatever was left over. I was told that she was closing up at 6. I returned back at 5:00 only to cone back to a closed up bar. I called, knocked on the door amd was even told that she resides upstairs. I tried to get her attention for an hour and nothing. I had made a call to the police because at this point I thought maybe a welfare check was needed. She is an elder lady who was pretty much working a full packed bar on her own and maybe she was in distress. Turns out, she had just been ignoring me! She has my crock pot, ladle, spoon holder, and all my leftovers that I was going to use to feed ourselves dinner. It's got a nice set up . Outside area is prob the spot I like best about this place I like to smoke as I drink n outside area is very comfortable and last time I seen they had a pool table. I just wish they stayed open later. They tend to close early at night because of lack of staff ....
