Good food- I got the crispy sesame chicken, which I will not get again as the meat was so chewy and almost dried out. The sauce was very good though and I love the white rice. My husband got the beef with broccoli which was very good. The broccoli was perfectly tender yet crisp and the sauce was delicious. Crab rangoons were okay. Pot stickers were very good. Won ton soup was mediocre- it was included but I would never go out of my way to order it It depends on what you order, but if you order the right items it’s excellent. Small parking lot but there is room on the street directly behind it. Fast and friendly service. We will eat here again but I will stick to the lunch specials menu as they have some great options.

Bao Ju is a typical Chinese restaurant that does not necessarily set itself apart from the others except I did find it to be a more pleasant dining experience than many. I ordered the Sweet and sour pork with fried rice but my order arrived white rice. This was remedied right away with no fuss. My mistake as the fried rice was rather bland and disappointing. However, the portion size of my entire meal was considerable and I left with a take home container. The inside was clean and comfortable and perhaps nicer than many places I have eaten. Aside from the fried rice, the food was very good and the staff was very pleasant.

FINALLY found a good Chinese spot, I was getting disappointed with the offerings around Appleton since moving here. Only other good spot is Cafe Basil which is a little pricier plus many of the offerings are different and it's Thai focused. We ordered General Tso, chicken chow mein and steamed dumplings. General Tso had sizable chunks of chicken with a sweet and flavorful sauce, the chow mein was spot on and the Chinese sausage in the dumplings was a nice touch. Portions filled us up with lots of leftovers so there's great value added. Can't wait to try your other dishes.

my boyfriend and I were traumatize, horrified and embarrassed the people who worked here demanded and would not let us leave the building until I left a bigger tip I felt like a hostage and I've been having panic attacks ever since I'M NOT JOKING I should have called the cops but we just wanted to get out. I am a retired vet this is not how you treat military people and we felt trap

this is a disgusting place that you should never come take my word here's my story. had to wait 20 min for them to take my order, too bad there was only 4 other people who were already eating. order crab Rangoon they were completely empty no filling whatsoever I was practically eating wonton crust, the pork fried rice was halfway decent sizes was nice but they never came back to the table to ask if I was enjoying anything. I didn't eat all the food cuz one I wasn't that satisfied it wasn't terrible but the taste and flavors was missing something. the chicken it looked more like a big ball chunks thanks for the spoon so I can cut the chicken.

the part that really pissed me off and that was unprofessional, inappropriate and upright disgusting I'm still in shock of what happen. we received the bill, paid and left a tip and left. well apparently I pissed off somebody they chase me outside to tell me that I didn't leave enough of a tip I left a $7.00. they made us come back inside

they told me a I HAD to pay more well it's my God-given right to leave whatever I want as a tip if I am not satisfied. they should be happy I left anything because I could have been a bigger jerk and left ZERO. because. do you know how embarrassing it is to get yelled at in front of a group of people in a restaurant all eyes are on us

I'm still in utter and complete shock they wouldn't let us past to leave. this should be illegal that they do this to so many people read the comments and reviews I'll be calling Better Business Bureau

be careful pay cash and just walk away do not let these people terrorize you to get more out of your pocket you hear about these stories and other places I never thought that this would happen to us

and don't give these people your credit card I should have called the cops but we just wanted to get out

Bao Ju you should feel Dishonored for the people you do this to and I am ashamed to have done my service to protect...

WATCH YOUR CEDIT CARD STATEMENTS AFTER EATING HERE! My boyfriend took me here for my first time today for lunch. Was a slow day being it the middle onf the week on a rainy/ snowy day. Okay thats fine but to have 3-4 waitress on staff to only drop water, order, bring boxes, n drop off a bill. The food was good but during our meal a young women came in and didn’t know they don’t accept tap to pay, her bill being a few bucks my bf and I decided we’d like to help and pay for her lunch. “Pay it forward” we said they WHOLE WAIT STAFF tried multiple times to what seemed like talk us out of helping her out. After a 3 min encounter of just trying to PIF we returned to eating our meals. Asked for boxes and was also brought the bill. I packed up and went out to the vehicle to watm it up. It took my BF over 4 mins to swipe his card sign tip and leave. However when he came back out he went on to explaining that the waitresses manipulated him to paying a $12 on a $29 bill. If you know anything about hospitality or wages for wait staff youd understand m9st if not all their wage is tip based. So desiring a larger tip I understand, but then EARN IT HONESTLY!!!!! Manipulation is repulsive especially in the feild of hospitality- if not the opposite! Even at a overly generous tip of 15% would stillnot even amount to a full $5. Due to lack of socialization and attentiveness; my bf was going to tip $2. Needless to say i went back in and changed the total bill amount after tip to $30 EXACT! Leaving a 90 cent tip and words of hospitality and wisdom. I would have come back if not for this incident! WATCH YOUR CEDIT CARD STATEMENTS AFTER...

I came to dinner here with my parents and the waitress was HORRIBLE. We saw her interact with the table across from us (four elderly people) and then she totally changed her mood with us for some reason. First, my dad initially said he wanted his rice to eat here but then changed his mind, so he went to tell her she just kept walking away after he called after he multiple times. Then he told another waitress to tell her and she said okay she would. They brought his rice out on the plate and not boxed up like he asked the waitress to tell her. Secondly, the table across from us got a small box to box up their rice and my mom liked that and so she asked and the waitress said "No you put your rice here!!" And she pointed to the big box. My mom said no she wanted a small one to keep it separate and the waitress said "NO YOU PUT IT IN BIG ONE". Then it was time to leave and my dad placed a tip on the table (bless his heart, he shouldn't have because she was terrible). We were walking out and the waitress ran after us loudly pointing to the receipt and yelling "YOU NO TIP? YOU NO TIP?" my dad calmly said, "we placed your tip under the receipt." Yet she just kept repeating, "YOU NO TIP!?" My father is a classy African American and I feel this waitress had racism towards him because she did not treat other people this way. I would NOT recommend this place. Only go if you want to not be listened to, harassed and treated...
