Gordo's Street Tacos — Restaurant in Neshannock Township

Update; 4th meal in three weeks, and EVERY time perfect. The bowls, the tacos, the hot sides (rice, beans, Queso). The cold sides (pico de gallo, guacamole) I'm looking at two carne asada Street Tacos right now. These folks are serving the best Mex you can get around here, and I mean MILES around here!

Gordo's Tacos in New Castle, PA, right on Wilmington rd is GREAT! Now, they dont have skirt or hanger steak for the tacos and burritos, but no one in ohio does have skirt or hanger steak! Right now, open only 3 days, the food is great. The place is an old Taco Bell from the 1970's, so it's ironic too, wow! The street tacos are $3, the burritos, bowls, and Nachos are $11, and no beer, but they have sodas, Horchata, bottled water.

New Castle is perfect for Gordo's, and where it sits on Wilmington Rd, between Edwards and the DQ, is a perfect spot. It has exceptional ease of access and parking. The building was totally blown out and redone. The food is outstanding, lots of different toppings and sides available.

And I wolfed my three tacos down. (no ground beef tacos though, darn! 🤣) I knew wife wouldn't finish her Burrito bowl, and right now the rest of it is sitting on the kitchen counter. For about three more minutes, because after three minutes it's mine, and thems the rules!

So go here. It's very very good. It has fast service. The folks making the tacos are helpful and friendly. And the place is spotless. For fast work lunch this place would be great. See the menu pix for types of meat, there is pastor, carnitas, birria,...

So I am a picky eater & bcuz of this I hardly ever try anything new. I hate being wasteful. Buuuut..... a friend brought me & my kids to this place for dinner & IM SO GLAD! The food was incredible! I've NEVER had meat so tender & flavorful out of a restaurant. Like it had been slow cooking for hours in salivating seasonings. Just wow & with ALL THE MEATS to choose frm!! I tried cow tongue for the first time & it was freaking delicious.. just like corned beef brisket mmm... so many different dishes & and combinations, including a kids menu & signature house punch, that is also delicious. Reasonably priced dishes. The kitchen is open, you get to watch them cook your meat & then dress it as you like frm the condiments bar. This, definitely, is one of the best tacos I've ever had. I had ordered 4 street tacos with the birria option and the staff were nice enough to give me a sample, which I find very kind and understanding. As for the street tacos, they were simply DIVINE. Every single ingredient and topping tasted like they were made amazingly fresh; the broth from the birria extreme flavorful like it was hand crafted by the top chefs of the world. I bet even Gordon Ramsay would shed a tear at the absolute MasterCraft that is named "Street tacos." I must admit to anyone in a 20 minute drive, or lower, distance, you MUST go here. Comparing tacobell food, to this, is like comparing a pitiful dirt puddle, to a grand, luxorious, Olympic sized swimming pool.
