Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Spring Valley

9/7 6:30 AM - Pulling into the line this AM there was maybe around 7 cars total. Pretty light in comparison to mornings I’ve pulled in being about 20 cars back between both lines. I figured 20 minutes would be plenty of time to get a coffee and still get to work on time. Oh how wrong I was. This is the second time I’ve been to this location where the drink production has been so slow, the first time I actually had to pull out of the line in fear of being late, which was fine since I didn’t pay yet. But today, I paid. And waited….. And waited…. This location used to be so prompt at getting drinks processed, made, and they were even able to get the drinks out to people still sitting in line to get them moving, but that is not the case anymore. At 6:58, I finally pulled up to the window and the two females working had not even started my drinks, but they sure had plenty of time to talk trash about the woman in front of me who was apparently rude to them cause she too was pissed about the service and time it had taken to get her drinks. Today I was actually late to work. I only stop at places if I think I have enough time or plan ahead enough and I truly believed I’d have time seeing I arrived 32 minutes prior to receiving my drinks. It was also apparent that the person making my drinks either didn’t know how, or just didn’t care, because I watched as she made both of my drinks, one drink with an extra shot added. She had to dump some of my drink out, not nearly enough to add the EXTRA shot I paid for, barely pouring a little liquid from the shot and sticking a spoon in once to push the liquid down. I was already frustrated with the time it took to get two drinks and the fact that they weren’t even ready by the time I got to the window, but to see that the people that now work at this location clearly don’t care, it’s unfortunate for whomever owns this store, cause I can’t imagine people being too thrilled with the service or the quality of the...

For one to say they do something to meet one desire is a lie; the same can be said about restaurants to say that you come only for a distance meal is a lie. While that be your intent you subconsciously want more, you want comforting environment, spectacular service, you want a great experience. To say that I have a great experience at this Dutch Bro is a gross understatement. Specifically because of one hard independent worker Kat. About eight times out of 10 Kat will take my order though she does not remember my face because she sees hundreds of people because she works soo often and soo hard I remember hers, and she makes my experience astonishing. Ralph Emerson once said, "In my walks, every man I meet is my superior in some way, and in that I learn from him". I have never seen Kat without a smile on her face she's never come to work depressed, bitter, stressed. She keeps the smile on her face through my entire transaction. I've learned to keep pressing forward, to always be joyful, keep a smile on my face because of the example Kat has set before me. I could see anything to this outstanding young lady; I said on behalf of all the customers never change and I cannot wait for next communion so you can teach me...

This is by far one of my favorite locations because the staff’s very upbeat, enthusiastic and they’re always offering exceptional customer service.

Instead of going through the drive-thru, my husband and I decided to order our drinks through the walk-up window. Upon arrival, we were instantly greeted and the staff took down our order the moment we were ready. We knew there would be a wait, since the drive-thru was packed once we got here. It wasn't too long, maybe 10-15 minutes and there’s a table in the front for casual lounging.

Today I ordered my go-to drink which is the iced Golden Eagle. I really love the fact that I can customize it with oat milk and add whipped cream as a freebie. The Golden Eagle, in my opinion, has the best flavor and is consistently good. My husband decided to try something different today, so he ordered their Double Rainbro Rebel. His drink was refreshingly sweet and offered an all day jolt of energy. For the most part, this is an all-around solid coffee shop that offers decently priced drinks and a few delectable...
