Came to Bogey's for a brief day drinking escapade with a friend. I had never been before so it was a nice surprise to see the decor which consisted of big chairs (maybe it's so we all feel like mob bosses- idk- but it's cool), typical bar seating and then some regular tables with stools.
I was pleasantly surprised by the menu, it had pretty much everything covered...from breakfast, lunch, to dinner with daily specials on a board when you walk in!
I chose a grilled chicken Caesar salad and was not disappointed. I was especially surprised to have the bartender give me a "bar buddy" while I ate so I wouldn't be hunched over. I had no idea what that was and if you don't it's basically a piece of wood that is made to fill the gap between the bar and you (like a TV dinner tray but for a bar)... So, needless to say I was able to enjoy my salad and my beverage while sitting in an upright position having a good conversation with the bartender and my friend. I don't know if this is unique to Bogey's but I can say that I've gone a lot of different places and I've never been offered one of these or even seen them.
I can't wait to go back, maybe I can go closer to dinner time and enjoy one of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in to watch the NHL playoff game. I was surprised to see only 2 customers at the bar. TV screens were decent, but wide variances in picture quality as at least 2 were dim and a little blurry, but whatever, at least I can watch the game on the newer TVās. The bartender was reasonably pleasant, but catered more to the only other 2 that were there. Obviously regulars. The game had about 18 minutes left. Looked for beer on tap, they donāt have beer on tap. I was on a budget and being 4 days from pay day, I ordered a Budweiser figuring the price would be $3-4 at the most, right? I ordered a second one since the game went into overtime adding another 30 minutes to my visit. When it was over, I got the check to find out it was $10 plus tax. $5 for a bottle of domestic?! Are you kidding? No wonder there were only 2 people in there while other local bars were packed for the playoff game with $2-3 beer specials. I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn my latest #STEPventure to Vegas, I ventured off strip a bit and found this cozy little sports bar. Great ambience. Amazingly friendly staff. Courtney Ryanne treated us and all others at the bar like we were the only ones there. Beautiful and amazing customer service! Great value for drinks and food. And better food than you would expect at a small bar. From normal pub food (wings) to sandwiches and full on entrees. I enjoy a beef Philly cheesesteak sandwich (chicken is also available). My friends got the beef dip and the cheeseburger. Neither one of us was disappointed!!. Also of note is the fact , according to boards posted in bar.. they have daily big winners of keno and poker at thier bar machines. ( day before us $4k was won) Highly recommend Bogeys. Stop by on your next Vegas adventure and tell them Steph send you! Definitely...
