A REAL scary Halloween story about wasted money, bad food & terrible customer service!
One of my friends told me about this place & that it was a must try, so I did exactly what she said & tried it out. My first 3 visits I did in-person dining & it was amazing, the food quantity, quality & service was amazing. However I switched to ordering from home using UberEats & Iāve purchased from this place about 5x, each time my order total has been $50-$65 with that amount Iām expecting the exact same greatness yet each time Iām underwhelmed & tonights ordered has set the permanent tone. I ordered at 10:11pm, A simple order āChicken Pad Thai, an order of crab rangoons, a Thai Iced Tea & a small white rice. My UberEats driver had it delivered in 20 minutes, She was awesome, I WISH I could say the same about the AWFUL food I received. My chicken pad thai was cold in the center like ice cold & flavorless, the actual chicken was disgusting & had a rancid taste, my rangoons were overcooked, my small white rice was so crunchy & hard at the top the plastic fork they toss in bent, & to top it off they didnāt give my driver my thai iced tea. She was so gracious to go back & pick it up after I called the restaurant in front of her didnāt answer the phone & Not to mention, They didnāt even offer her an apology for her trouble. So if you are considering ordering or dining at this place choose anything else, by far the WORST...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStarted with the appetizer, fried Shu Mai, similar to potstickers. Really good, nice and crispy. Would recommend.
My entree was the Lazy Duck and it was dreadful. First, there was very little duck on a mountain of rice. It was cold, mostly fat, and the meat was chewy, not tender. The rice was undercooked (maybe itās supposed to be, idk). The gravy was as thick as syrup, way to sweet, and dark, not brown like the picture. I would never describe it as gravy.
Lastly the service. When I went in I told them I might or might not be joined by another. Apparently to them that means donāt ever come by and ask if I wanted anything. After 10 minutes and several minutes of staring straight at the servers did one come over. (Only 3 other tables going, 1 Togo pickup, and two servers, hardly could call being to busy). Entree came about 3 minutes after my appetizer. Never checked back after entree drop to see if everything was all right (in my opinion as a former server, that is the most time sensitive and crucial time to visit a table). They were nice and friendly though. Check came fast at least after I requested it.
I came here because Lotus of Siam was not open, and unfortunately I wish I waited. I will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was in Las Vagas for the night and did not wanted some great Thai food and found that there are a lot of highly rated Thai restaurants in the area. We chose Table Thai Bar & Bistro and had a great meal. The food was great and the service was amazing.
We ordered the crab rangoon as an appetizer which was a great start to our meal. These were not frozen appetizers that were thrown in a fryer, they were light, crispy and the filling was very flavorful.
For our meal, we ordered Drunken Noodles with pork and the Sea Curry. The Sea Curry was a red curry based dish that was served with great vegetables like carrots, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, and onion which accompanied the shrimp, calamari, white fish and mussels. The portion was large and while we ate all the seafood we were not able to finish all the curry.
The Drunken Noodles were classic and full of flavor. The pork was tender and delicious. I have had a lot of druken noodles in my life and these were first class.
If you are looking for great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and great service and want to avoid the crazy spots in town then this is a great place to enjoy...
