I wanted to put together a Bubble Tea Station for Teacher Appreciation Week at our school. I knew about Tea Drops Boba Supplies LV when they were on Spring Mountain Rd in the same plaza as Ronald's Donuts. A Google Map search later and I found that they had relocated to an industrial park near the airport off Sunset.
They are open Monday - Saturday so I stopped in on a Saturday to get some information. I met Angel's daughter and she was kind enough to call her dad and he recommended some products including black tea, green tea, tapioca pearls, nondairy creamer, passionfruit syrup, sugar syrup, lychee jelly, cups, lids, and straws to get my setup started. Angel was also kind enough to email me the milk tea and green tea recipes.
A few additional visits to the store and I felt comfortable enough to make the recipes for our teachers and staff. The bubble tea station was a hit especially for those who were curious about it and had never tried it.
Whether you are doing this for personal use or a business, go see Angel at Tea Drops. I prefer supporting local businesses when I am able. Amazon would never have been able to provide the experience or knowledge. I also found that it was very easy and cost-effective to make bubble tea at home. I only regret not taking pictures of the...

Tea Drops has good prices on boba/bubble tea. A large bubble tea is $5 plus tax for 32 ounces! I would personally recommend asking for half sweetness if you do the milk tea, but the taste is there. I spend around $12 for a pair of powder mix and tea leaves each visit, which is less than three individual bubble tea purchases at most places in Las Vegas. The packages of boba pearls that they sell are huge and also a great value, though I buy smaller packages elsewhere for freshness, since I don't make them every time. They sell powdered creamer, too, if that's your thing, but the prepared bubble tea you can purchase at this store is made with canned evaporated milk (not sweetened condensed to the best of...
Read moreThis store is most likely the only kind that exists in the entire USA. The reason why is that they sell professional grade syrups that boba shops use.
If you've ever been to California, you might know of the Lollicup chain. Well, Lollicup is the importer of TeaZone products and these products are what they use in their numerous boba shops. But not only Lollicup uses these products, many other shops in California use these products. So in conclusion, you have access to the exact ingredients that real boba shops are using! How exciting is that?
Anyways, I got a tea here and was underwhelmed. It's probably because of my high expectations of boba. But I really appreciate this store being open, and I encourage you to stop by and grab a drink - perhaps even buy something to make at home later! The service was very...
