First, I want to say that none of the employees involved in this transaction and ultimately the reason for this review were NOT teenagers. I know, I know, it's a fast food restaurant so I should have low expectations, but I did not think it was possible for the employees at this store to go LOWER. I placed a mobile order because I am an exhausted mom and my toddler wanted BK. I placed the order at 6:06 p.m. and the receipt said pickup was at 6:10. My husband and mother-in-law left the house at 6:07, we live roughly 5 minutes away. I got a text from my husband at 6:37 saying they were still in the drive thru, per the instructions on the online receipt, and they had not been helped. At 6:39 he told me they were at the window. He texted me at 6:50 telling me they finally got the order, but upon looking to make sure everything was there, half of the order was missing. He goes inside and the employees could care less and even told him he had to pay EXTRA for what we ALREADY PAID FOR. One of those things included my toddler's kids meal drink, because apparently, that is no longer included in the meal? The employees acknowledge that things are missing, but then proceed to not give my husband the missing items and then got annoyed and asked what he "still needs" when he hadn't left yet. Dude, I know that Burger King is a stressful job, but you can't be serious. You have to rectify the situation before the customer leaves. Finally, he gets what he thinks is everything and comes home. When he gets here, and is passing out everyone's food, absolutely EVERYTHING is wrong. The burgers, the sides, the drinks, everything, wrong. My toddler's cheeseburger had bacon on it, I don't know if you have ever tried to get a toddler to eat, what supposed to be a plain cheeseburger, with bacon on it, but I am pretty sure you know exactly how that went. The burgers that we paid extra to have cheese on were missing the cheese. Everything they claimed to fix was actually made worse. Maybe my husband should have taken everything out of the bags and opened it in front of the employees, but who has the time, and why should he even have to do that. Then, I go to fill out the survey on the receipt because obviously I'm annoyed at this point and the employees had ripped the top off the receipt where the store number should be, I can't do a survey without that number. So we try to call, it goes to voicemail and the mailbox is full, so I would be willing to guess they know upset customers call, but they dgaf and ignore their phones completely knowing that they can't leave a message. Whoever the manager of this store is should be ashamed that their employees run it this way, the district manager should be doing an in store shadowing, might was well throw the regional manager in there too, and Burger King as a corporate entity should fire Tate (not a teenager) and every other adult who works at that store. Clearly teenagers are more competent than the adults employed at this store. Honestly, my 4 year old is more competent, at least when she pretends to be employed by McDonald's or Burger King, she gets my order right the first time. Avoid the BK, literally, drive to McCarren or Clear Acre, heck go to Kietzke at least they have a play place, the cost in gas is actually less than what you will lose going...
Read moreSo earlier this week my 13 year old wanted to buy dinner for the whole family (family of 6). We placed a mobile order and spent $72. My husband picked up the order on the way home and to my surprised walked in with only 2 bags. We were missing half of our order and 2 of our drinks. My husband went back and got them to make the rest and when he got home they had completely given me a different sandwich than the one I ordered. Mobile customer service tried to make things right by giving us a $15 coupon. Which brings us to tonightâs experienceâŚ
Tonight we had a long day at my daughterâs dance competition rehearsal and decided to just use the coupon they gave to get our kids something to eat. We place a mobile order. Go through the drive through and someone scream âAHHHâ into the speaker before they decided to ask us what we would like. When we pulled up to the window there is a kid working the drive through and we are watching him, scream at his other coworkers thinking it is funny, vaping, and mocking, then he said to his coworkers âI think their afraid of meâ (even though we did not even say anything or look at him other than watching just not do his job and be super unprofessional) then as we got out food and were about to pull away this kid purposely looked at my husband egging him on as if he was going to try to fight him. To this kidâs surprised my husband stopped. Another worker opened the window as if nothing happened asking what was wrong. My husband explained that he is here trying to get dinner with his family and that kid was being super unprofessional and that he was a kid once but everything he was doing was not cool. The other worked acted clueless even though they had been there watching this all happen the whole time. Definitely need to hire a better...
Read moreTook almost an hour to get my food. They couldnât tell me what sandwiches were 2 for $5. She said the chicken. There was a big poster in the window showing three different sandwiches, but I couldnât read it. Finally was told the chicken sandwich and the 1/4 pounder. Asked what came on the 1/4 pounder and was told everything, basically a whopper. I asked mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions? She said yes. I said, okay, Iâll take two of those, one with mustard and one with mayo. She kept saying no mustard and no mayo. I explained three different time and three different ways. She finally said okay. The line wasnât moving, so I wasnât holding anything up. When we got to the window I asked why they put a cone in the drive-through and turned people away. She said one of their employees walked off the job and it was really busy, so they shut it down, but that employee is back. Waited another 15 minutes at the window and watched 6-employees standing around chatting and playing on their phone, while I guess someone else was cooking our burgers. Finally got burgers with no mayo or mustard and no lettuce or tomatoes and they were cold! They need a manager that can train...
