Port of Subs — Restaurant in Nevada

This week my boss bought lunch from this Port of Subs, service and food good .did it again on Friday and service and food Sucked. Sandwiches not marked, ( so we had to touch everything,) the Sandwiches in general were over and under made.. When did they start using round Ham? No not Capitola. HAM. is this a price cut? Every sandwich had mayo,must,pickles olives,letuce,onion, and tomatoes... even the TUNA. This Port of Subs has been under different management 5 t+ tmes in the 15 years that I've worked in the warehouse district and they seem to go down down down. Even the young kids that start there working carriers for a franchise such as this aren't getting the true training and or respect they should be getting to do their best and practice Customer service which we will all need today tomorrow and always. The inside order taking and processing isn't any better, to many hads, nor enough experience to give the customers what they pay for. Don't try to call this one the message machine always comes on and refers you to on line ordering. The result of doing that didn't work out so well. And as wrong and as impacent that we have all become... check your order B 4 YOU LEAVE.. the Customer behind you might appreciate you doing that because they will do it too....

This is the second time!!!! The first time I took my little sister in and they complety switched our sandwiches and started putting whatever they thought was supposed to be on it with out asking so I had them remake it, after wasn’t discounted or anything so I dropped it thinking they just had an off day, today I went in with the same guy working got all the way to the part where he asked a girl for help,by the end of my order the girl who wrapped my sandwich demolished it, cut it then moved it, then it started to go all over the place and then she called for help and the guy came over tried to put everything back inside the sandwich and then wrapped it and everything fell apart I refused to pay full price for a sandwich they messed up twice so I got 10% which I do appreciate, but this is absolutely absurd if you don’t know how to make a SANDWICH then don’t work at a sandwich place worst experience here ever and I’ve been coming to this...

Mom, Pop daughter, and son sound like the beginning of a children's book? Nope it's just the wonderfully kind, polite and professional family who runs this store.

I love history and love that this business originated in Sparks, NV. Yep you heard that right. It originated in Sparks, NV under the name of "Sub Shop" in 1972 by brothers from New Jersey. Headquarters today are in Reno, NV. A man named Larsen bought the business in 1975 and changed the name to Port of Subs after a community contest for a new name.

The store is the same as all the others, there are a variety of meats, cheese's, veggie toppings, shakers, soups, desserts, salads and chips, mustard, mayo, honey mustard etc.. The sandwiches are consistently the same. The whole family is polite, kind and professional.
