This place has fed me some good food during good times where I didn’t have to check the prices of things and this place has fed me during bad times when I had only $20 to my name and was too exhausted to cook. And it’s always “10 minutes” no matter what, and they mean it. I’m glad they toughed it out during covid. Me and my family tried giving them as much business as possible in the hopes they’d survive, and I’m sure glad they did. I have made special trips from far across town just to come here and give them business instead of the other Chinese place next to where I moved to. My husband ordered a combination plate over the phone, but when he arrived at Hong Kong Express, there was a small mix-up and he was given three à la carte items instead, fried rice, vegetable delight, and General’s chicken.

What really stood out was how the staff handled it. They were extremely professional, didn’t get upset or rude at all. Instead, they honored the original combination plate price and told my husband he could keep all the food!

Worst food I’ve ever had. My family and I went into restaurant tonight we ordered about 60.00 worth of food and the lady working was rude, short and made us seem like we were an inconvenience. As my family and I sat in there to wait for our food to be cooked the lady was just rudely staring at us. When we got home the food was not good at all, the fried rice only had egg in it, the shrimp with vegetables was slimy the pot stickers were slimy and gross inside.
