I was on a day journey just going from place to place with nothing to do but explore the outside after being cooped in home so long. I was really looking forward to having one of Carl's Jr's new A1 Double Cheeseburger.
This store now lets you come in to take out your food but you are so unwelcomed. I was not greeted when I came in although there were three people just standing around with nothing to do behind the counter. There were bar stools four deep all across the front of the counter taped together. There was a wall of chairs and signs where you could not go into the dining room. It was all very unattractive.
But what got me was how rude the cashier was. He didn't say anything and I said may I have one of those new A1 Double Cheeseburgers. All he said back was $2.70 please. He then turned around and disappeared into the back. He never even came to take my money. Another man that was doing the drive-thru came over and took my money and then just walked away.
So far the only word spoken by any member of the staff was $2.70 please.
About 10 minutes later the drive-thru guy walked over and handed me a bag and walked away. I looked inside and the paper wrapper said Double Cheeseburger. So I opened the package to make sure it was the right cheeseburger. I was told you can't eat that here. I said I'm not, I'm making sure that this is the correct item. He turned around and left.
I just left the store because I was so put off by the entire experience. And to make matters worst that burger is horrible even for the special price of $2.49.
But the rudeness of the employees and the way they've arranged the front lobby I don't think I'll ever go back to that...
Read moreI've been to this location a couple of times. The drive thru times make you think you're waiting at a sit down restaurant. I think I might have gotten my food faster if I went to Olive Garden on a Friday night during dinner. That would include the 45 man to 1 hr wait, ordering food, waiting for it to be cooked, eating said food, and then paying for the meal. The drive thru is so slow that I entered the drive thru with a full tank of gas and left on empty. I'm actually starting to enjoy the wait for FAST FOOD. I've been able to get a full night's rest, write this review, and I filed my taxes during my wait today. I wonder if Carls Jr unionized during my wait in the drive thru. I'm assuming they are on a union break. Legitimately, I've been in a drive thru line with 2 cars ahead of me for nearly 30 minutes. This is insane. If I wasn't keeping myself entertained with this review, I would have left 25 minutes ago. I've been to this location 3 times and now 2 of these times my wait times have been outrageous. I will not return. Oh hold on. My wife just gave birth to the child that we conceived during this wait. Holy cow. I'm sure I could have slaughtered the cow for my hamburger during this wait. At this point Carls Jr should be...
Read moreWe had lunch at this Carl's Jr. on a weekday in May, 2023. We found the restaurant to be pretty clean. The women at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I haven't had Carl's Jr in about 40 years or more and was looking forward to my lunch. Our food was pretty good. Although my fond memories of the fries were not as good as I remember. But the food was better than average at burger places. The only down side is when we went to wash the grease/salt off our hands, the restroom door were locked. There was no sign telling us this, but we had to go to the counter and ask to be let in. Not an optimal situation. Maybe there is a reason for this. But it was very inconvenient and somewhat embarrassing to have to ask to be let in the restroom in front of other customers. All in all other than the restroom situation. We enjoyed our lunch at...
