I would suggest hire an adult manager to supervise your staff as literally kids ages 18 to 24 are running your business.
kid#1 is about 21-25yo latina cashier who took my orders of two chicken strips meal with fries, 2 sodas and upgraded the 2 sundae to 2 blizzards and ordered 2 extra plain burgers. Trippled check with her that the burgers are plain as it doesnt say in the receipt. Gave me 2 cups for the drinks
17mins later still nothing while people behind me are already gone so I came back to the counter and asked kid#2
They havent started my orders! Or gave it to someone else. Theyre just in the back kitchen which is visible and they are playing around and talking. Maybe taking a rest as there’s a lot of people when I walked in.
Kid#2 is about an 18yo african american kid who’s polite and offered to assist me, 3mins later came back with 1 meal. I said I had 2 meals and asked for my blizzards. He read my receipt and went back to the kitchen after reading my receipt.
Kid#2 made my 1st blizzard and went back to the kitchen for my 2nd chicken strips meal and burgers as he read my receipt like there’s no monitor back there.
Kid#2 came back with 2 chicken strip meals and I am only missing one so now I have 3 meals.
Double checked my burgers and sure enough it wasn’t plain so I came back to the counter.
Kid#2 took my receipt in the back as reference and I had to ask for it back
Kid#3 is about 18-22yo latino kid who offered to make me a new pair of burgers and said would take about 3minutes and I made him promise as I was already there for about 25mins so I got it on time as promised then he went back to the visible kitchen.
Came back and asked for my 2nd blizzard and kid#2 said he made them both already and politely argued he made 2, I said no 1 watched you make one and you went back to the kitchen as I walked away to give the 1st blizzard to one of the my roommates kids
Kid#4 is about 20yo white male kid said maybe someone else took it and offered to make me a new 1 (which is false coz I watch kid#2 only make one and walked back to the kitchen as other customers inquired about their orders) while kid#2 was there watching me talking to kid#4 and made my 2nd blizzard for my other roommates kid.
Finally after 34minutes I can leave and as I was walking out with my roommates children, kid#2 came to me with a 3rd blizzard, I said I was only missing one more and now you’re giving me a 3rd blizzard? Like He wasn’t there while he is present when I was talking to them both kids #2 and #4 then we both watch kid#4 make my missing 2nd blizzard? Ill take it anyways if #DQ just gonna throw it away.
Dairy Queen HIRE an ADULT OR MORE EXPERIENCED AND MORE PROFESSIONAL MANAGER to your ft.apache and sunset branch to SUPERVISE your young staff. Unless there’s 1 sleeping back there. I dont know if kid#2 has a short attention span or have problem to details but if I would have to make a bold claim, dont let them work if they are under the influence of marijuana. Not singling kid#2 out but there are more young staff available in the back as the other customers already left and they are just talking in the back. #dairyqueen am I happy I got a 3rd meal that your staff had ABSOLUTELY NO clue they gave me more? Absolutely not, I think I have enough saved up to buy 3000 meals I value my time more and I take customer service very serious. Read moreThis location is terrible. 1) I order the churro blizzard with added cheesecake and I told the girl a lot of cheese cake please and I ordered a banana split and a cone. When pulling up the window thet took my card charged it returned it like normal. I get the receipt and noticed she charges like 4 times for cheesecake $2 worth of cheesecake. 10 mins later the ice cream is handed to me by another employee she says" sorry about that nobody around here tells me anything". She hands me the blizzard without turning it upside down so I turned it upside down and it instantly slipped out the cup into the lid. The employee blames the toppings as the issue. Which I explained to her this isn't how it's suppose to be at all a blizzard is suppose to be thick and the toppings would have made it even more thick. Not a cup of milk. So I got the banana split little to no ice cream just whip cream for the most part didn't even fill the container like a normal banana split. She points to the 3 Tablespoons of ice cream and says there is the ice cream. Read moreI’m so disappointed I have not been to Dairy Queen in about a couple years received a coupon in the mail and thought I would give it a try because I had a urge for the chicken strips, but I couldn’t believe the location where I live by it’s on 6525 S Fort Apache Rd Unit 100, Las Vegas, NV 89148. I went in person to place my order and then took my it home when I opened the box I couldn’t believe how the toast was. I didn’t know. Toast was supposed to be white and not only that the little amount of fries that they gave me in the box it was barely nothing in there. I’m very disappointed and I will not be going back. I read more reviews that night on the DQ website and I can’t believe this place got a one star no one‘s doing anything about it. All they have is a bunch of young people just standing around in the back chitchatting and they’re not doing anything in the restaurant could be a little cleaner sorry but I would not be returning or recommending this place to anyone I thought the manager should know how horrible things are running in there.
