Not great. First - does ANYONE not know if the customer does not respond the 1st time to reintroduce the call with the business greeting because CLEARLY the call didn't connect when she clicked the "on" button on the phone. ??? All I heard was "hello". I called in advance to ask about the specials - just ate their food at my aunt's house yesterday and it was very good. The lunch specials were also good but their website seems to be managed by someone extremely inexperienced and those daily specials were nowhere to be found. So the girl who answered said "yes, we have the lunch specials all day long" to which I reiterated "your lunch specials are valid all day?" and she confirmed. So I drive over there (20 min ea way), pull up, walk in and the specials are showing daily but different options each day. Did she bother to tell me that? Needless to say, drove all the way over there so I ordered. Waited about 3 min (which was a little alarming) and the food was ready. Opened up when I got home hardly any red sauce on the chicken enchiladas, chicken was grilled - had shredded yesterday and those were better but the girl taking the order gave ZERO options - and one jalapeno in the bucket to choose from for my go order. I hope the manager and owner read these... I feel my overall experience was unfortunate and poor. The girl at the counter answering who I presume is the one answering the phone needs to be trained how to engage with the customer since ANY business knows that the first experience will always be the most lasting and if that sucks - even if the food is good or even ok - it will impact the overall experience and desire to go there again...
Read moreI had high hopes for this place but I admit I can only go as high as average for the score. I ordered a carne asada taco and green chilaquiles which was accidentally made into a burrito but I was ok with that. Oh bummer the meat was dry on the taco and I just couldn't get myself to enjoy it as much as I wanted to. The green chilaquiles burrito was stuffed with beans and what seemed to be Monterrey jack cheese. All that just overwhelmed the taste of the green chilaquiles which barely had any flavor. I wish the green chilaquiles came with onions, sour cream, or meat so maybe next time you can ask for that. The cup of red hot sauce you can ask for did have a nice flavor to it which was a little spicy. As for the cup of green hot sauce it was ok but it was underwhelming in the spicy level. You only get one free refill on your fountain drinks so I went with the bottle of Mexican Coke instead. It was just more of the same food like other taco shops despite having a few more options than let's say Roberto's Taco's or Don Tortaco. The prices are fair, the inside of the taco shop was clean, and if you want a quick bite this place is for you. But don't expect a game...
Read moreMy husband and I been coming to this location several times now and the first 2-3x we’ve eaten here, the foods been great. However, the most recent times we noticed the food quality decreasing, I’m assuming they changed cooks? With that being said, Yesterday in particular, we decided to eat Mexican, we placed our order online so that way by the time we got there, the food will be ready. That wasn’t the case, we arrived and the place is EMPTY! Just one customer who was waiting for his food. The girl working the front (Approx. 5’2”, glasses, braid's), she didn’t bother to check the tablet for online orders and asked when I placed the order, I showed her my electronic receipt (20 min ago) and she said it’ll be about 10 min. No discount, no free drink… not even an apology. That’s pretty annoying, it defeats the purpose in ordering online. Paying customers shouldn’t have to be on top of staff. We are considering in going back to Roberto’s, at least they have drive-thru and the food quality is about the same. I hope the owners or upper management is reading this in hopes to improve the service/food and get rid of people who don’t...
