I ordered through Grubhub and arrived when the restaurant communicated with Grubhub that my food was ready. The restaurant says that they're open 24/7 online but they had a closing time posted on their front door. I didnt think much of it because I came 2 hours before they apparently were closing. When I entered the restaurant to pick up my order, I immediately got mean mugs from the workers and guys smoking hookahs by the bar. I told the bartender that I was picking up a to-go order that I placed. She rolled her eyes and went to the back. When she came back, she told me that there were no orders placed. I then told her my name and details of my order. She gave me a blank stare. So I showed her my order on the Grubhub app and that it stated my order was ready. She rolled her eyes again and told me they were closed. All the while, I continued to get mean mugged by the other workers while the guys smoking their hookahs grilled me and looked me up and down. I was never apologized to for the inconvenience or offered a refund. And I was never rude, loud or belligerent. I remained calm and polite so it was weird that they were so rude and dismissive of me. I had to file a complaint through Grubhub to get my money back. I love Ethiopian food and have never had an experience like this at an Ethiopian restaurant. If you're closed, maybe you shouldn't post on the internet that your operating hours are 24/7. Plus, everyone in the restaurant at the time, including the guys smoking hookahs were Ethiopian. I got the impression that they don't like African Americans....

Food Presentation: The injera was cold. It is my understanding that injera should always be served warm. The meat dishes were mostly clumps of fat and bone. The boiled egg looked old, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Because one will be eating with her hands, they should offer some type of moistened wipe in addition to napkins or replace the napkins with large paper towels, as they do in barbeque restaurants.
24 HOURS LATER I woke up with sweating with a hot fever, a headache, and a bad stomach ache. So I stayed in bed all day. At 3 AM I woke up VIOLENTLY ILL and spoiled my bed, which was all white with a white comforter. I was upchucking for an hour! Then, the "other end" sent me running to the restroom. I'm up at 4 AM laundering my bedding, and I'm still sick, and angry, I might add.
I'm still sick 48 Hours Later. I'm feeling better, but I'm very dizzy. So I'm going to lay in...
