LV Best Foot Spa — Local services in Spring Valley

So we were looking for a place to go because the last place we were using had raised their prices quite a bit . After calling around a bit and found this place. It was $22 for 1 hour regular massage but because it was my birthday we decided to do a 90-minute one. It was $15 extra which brought it to $37 for an hour and a half. I have been to fancier places but this place was clean, quiet and comfortable, the Music was relaxing and not overwhelming. The girls at the front spoke English which made it easy to communicate my health issues to them so I could get a good massage. It was among one of the better massages I've ever had. Because we had the extra time she did my feet for a bit longer than usual. I really enjoyed that as I have foot problems and it was among the best foot massage I think I've ever had. They used hot stones and some warm towels on my feet and legs. She listened to what I asked for and I did not hurt terribly the next day as I have with some massages. My daughter-in-law had a massage with me and she had an equally good experience. They offered a few different options on the times, massages and amounts. There was something for everyone if you wanted to get a deep massage that was available as well as the hot stones & total body ( I believe). There was a sign with tip options that were quite reasonable(unlike a lot of places I have been before that were crazy). My girl definitely got the largest tip on the sign as did my daughter-in-law's masseuse. I almost forgot to mention they have a frequent visitor card where after 10 massages you get a credit for a basic massage for free. My kind of place! We really wanted to like this place but there was one violation after another. The person I asked about the services and prices spoke minimal English. She couldn’t explain properly what a ‘combo’ was. All she said was ‘feet’ ’shoulders’ so I was expecting a nice foot massage and maybe some shoulder rubbing. Boy was I wrong! Before we could get to the room we noticed the foyer area smelled like a wet mop. Should’ve turned around then and there but we decided to go in to the room to see if it smelled there too but it didn’t so we proceeded to get a 90 minute combo. We spent 90 minutes getting manhandled and hurt instead of relaxing. There was all sorts of body parts touched - face, head, neck, shoulders, legs, hips, stomach sort of, then back up to the head, neck, shoulders, then feet. It was the most random foot massage as he touched my feet maybe 5 minutes. He slapped lotion all over my shoulders, neck and legs… then threw about two cups of oil on me which dripped all over me, the table, my hair. I am not sure if that’s what was supposed to happen but I left utterly confused. To add insult to injury they insisted on a tip and the man stood there watching over me until we gave them the ‘suggested’ tip of $20 ‘or more’ for a $60 massage.

Literally the best foot spa in town! I've been a long-time customer here... over 10 years maybe? They've improved their massage course over the years. Added oil massage and hot stone massage which are both great additions to an already great foot/body massage! Their chair, which can switch to completely flat, is so comfortable. It's actually better than a normal massage bed which is usually pretty hard. The water temperature is always perfect! It's a little bit hot at the beginning which is the right temperature! It's super relaxing and the only problem I have is that I can never get enough. lol Christine is the owner and she is my favorite massage therapist. Leon is also a great therapist too! Everyone here is friendly. I've seen people posting about tip enforcement. I've never experienced such a thing. I think they need to have many therapists available to meet the demand and sometimes they get bad new employees who demand such a thing. If that ever happens, just talk to Christine. She will straighten things up for sure! Tbh, their pricing is super low and if you are happy with their service, you should tip them at least $20 for 60min service, imo.
