The food is great, as is the service. I appreciate that the woman who works the cash register likes to sweep the floor to keep the place clean, but this is twice that I've been here and she's gone from handling food packaging to handling cash to sweeping the floor back to the register and handling people's food orders, utensils, etc without washing or sanitizing her hands. It's unsanitary and can cause cross contamination of germs. That's why so many people caught Covid, and why so many people catch food poisoning and otherwise get sick...because most people are dirty when it comes to washing or sanitizing their hands even after using the restroom (even after doing #2) or handling their pets. I will never understand why adults won't take a little but of time to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer. Been noticing this in public restrooms for quite some time. This is a violation of health codes for a food establishment, however, and should never be done.

This review isn't just for the L&L Hawaiian Barbecue on Flamingo & Jones - it's for all of you who are reading who have poor hand washing hygiene - particularly those who work in the food & beverage industries and have to get certain training, health cards, and good handling permits. You should all know better. Same with those of you who smoke cigarettes, and then come back handling food, touching furniture and other things - wash your freaking hands! And teach your children to...

I've never been so mistreated by a restaurant. I ordered food, a customer took the wrong order (my food), when I came to ask the girl about my food she said "we are cleaning the grill". I asked her why my food hadn't been started if it has been 25 minutes. At that same moment the customer who took my food brought it back. The cashier proceeded to rebag it and try to give it to me. I told her there was no way I would be taking that food. She proceeded to tell me I had 3 options, refund, reheat or remake. At this point it had been 30 minutes since I placed my order. I was extremely polite, and explained to her my food should be remade and my wait time should receive compensation. The 3 customers in the restaurant also looked at me in disbelief and told me that I was "right". I then waited another 15 minutes for the "free" potstickers. As I was asking her for the managers number, I was brushed aside in the middle of a sentence so that she could deal with another customer and give him his order. This is just absolutely unacceptable. I will never return here again and I need to be contacted by a manager because I will be reporting this location to the Better Business Bureau. Manager "Craig" I was given your information and you need to reach out because this cashier will tarnish...

I frequently eat here. The food is great. Service sucks. When placing my order I was being rushed. At first I was trying to be understanding thinking there was a lot of online orders or something. But then, (I always order a Thai tea both from here and other boba stores) today when I ordered it it was overly sweet. I literally was getting a headache and started getting nausea. I very calmly asked to replace it. I had maybe 3 drinks so it was still full and the lady rudely told me wait and then came around the counter to scold me saying I should have known what I was ordering and that it is sweet everywhere in fron of the whole restaurantwhichhad 4 familiesin there waitingfor theirfood. So now I can't even enjoy my food because I have nothing to wash it down AND I am not feeling good from the tea. This was my favorite place. I drive uber and I will make sure that my passengers know about this place. I am a pretty understanding person but the lack of respect and customer service ruined my experience. To top it off I didn't receive s knife. I am not about to get yelled at again so I'm having to use my fingers. The gentleman before me kindly requested that his order be for dine in and she seem ro ignore him and roughly handed...

I ordered garlic grilled mahi mahi with rice. What I got was some type of oil soaked fish fillet that looked to be lightly battered, then fried. NOT grilled. It’s very thin, less than 1/4 of an inch. They also gave me a side of what they said is “salad”. What makes everything even worse is the garlic. They literally took a HEAPING spoon full of wet minced garlic from a jar and dumped it on top RAW. Who does that? It’s disgusting! I was starving. I scraped the garlic off the top and I ate what I could until I took this picture then threw the rest away. How do you mess up a simple, plain, grilled fillet with some garlic? You literally throw it on the grill or in this restaurant case “grill stove” for 2-3 minutes on each side throw some garlic on the side let it cook along and voila. Anyways I can’t stop burping and my stomach is going crazy. Either they’re having a terrible night or people have REALLY low standards for food for this place to be 4.2 stars.

I went to order from the menu online, expecting to pay the same prices, but was surprised when the total actually doubled. The lady told me different locations, different prices. I showed her that it was her store, their menu, and prices. I changed my order and when I went to pay, she asked me if I was sure this time smh. I was sure the first time. It's their outdated menu prices. I'm proud of myself on having control and still blessed with the Aloha spirit and respect from the islands 🤙🏽

Ordered the Loco Moco with an over medium egg via UberEats and it was decent. Not as good as in Hawaii of course. They do need to add salt, but I guess they leave that up to customer these days. Back in Hawaii though it was already seasoned. I had to add salt & pepper to this American version. I've eaten here about 3 times now and the only thing I can say is good is the BBQ Meats. Other than that, it's not really food to get hype about honestly.
