I order an a 4 piece spicy chicken and it didn’t taste spicy nor was the chicken even hot as the store opens at 10am you would think the chicken would be fresh and hot.I live less then 1.8 miles away with Uber delivery and the food wasn’t hot on temp and chicken wasn’t spicy either. What o to Popeyes? You guys use to be consistent and the chicken didn’t have no flavor or taste to it either. Not just this store but another store as well don’t taste appealing either. Who is the cook that makes the chicken and do they taste what they cook to make sure it’s seasoned right and the correct chicken leaves the store of what’s ordered. Even the red beans and rice had no flavor to it just tastes very plain. With today’s food prices and how much we pay for our food. I expect quality to be the best as it possibly can. If you won’t serve it to your family then don’t serve it to ours is the best policy. That name goes a long way and the food taste like it was done like they didn’t care about it. I don’t think I will do Popeyes for a while as I stop eating at KFC already. I’m better off cooking my own food at home as the price is too high and you can’t get quality food as you think it should be at all time. I’m looking for consistency when I taste the food here at Popeyes. Know your product let the cook taste the chicken quality assurance the chicken by management as you run the store don’t let nothing pass you by. If it’s cold toss it and keep hot and fresh batch. Make sure they use the correct season. It tastes just like it’s nothing but batter only and the chicken scorched. How is the store open on an hour and the chicken is not hot or fresh. I challenge this store that I should come in to see how well the food is by pulling the manager so they know in person to see if they are watch what is leaving the store and how it taste they self. I know this store use to be the best and still can change if that manager knows what to do. Change your cooking grease and the cook. Allow the older ones that knows what to do to cook the chicken and taste the chicken and rate the chicken. If no taste don’t let that chicken leave the store. This store owe me an hot meal that is seasoned because I know you guys can because I’ve tasted it and this is the first time I caught this store slipping. Please fix this complaint and let someone that can cook that chicken correctly with flavor and temperature passing through fresh. I’m not going to take a photo because it was cold and just want to see this store make good hot fresh chicken. That’s all I expect this store to do. Also even the biscuit wasn’t hot and...
Read moreOrdered through their mobile app, as I have done several times in the past with no problems. I arrive to the restaurant drive thru for them to tell me I need to come inside for mobile orders. As I wait I witness 2 employees with masks below their noses and one cook take his mask completely off while handling food. After waiting nearly 10 minutes of them putting the order together they tell me that someone already picked it up. I tell them it wasn't picked up by me who ordered and paid for it. They ask whose name is on the account, I tell them my husband is in the car since we only had one mask, as we selected "drive thru" I did not expect to come inside. I ask of they need to see his him, they say yes. My husband comes inside shows them his ID, the card we paid with, and the order confirmation. A manager comes up and tells him he needs a mask or he needs to leave. He explained to her we intended to go through the drive through and did not bring a mask with him. He states he's not going anywhere without our food or money back. Another manager comes up and says if he does not leave or put a mask on he will call the cops. I explain to the guy the situation and he tells me there's nothing they can do, that the order was picked up already and that I would need to call popeyes corporate to get a refund. They gave my order to someone else and would not provide any resolution. Now I'm out $90 and wasted 30+ minutes of my time. And now I have to deal with the hastle of going through customer service to reclaim my money. Front of house people are all young and silly, they don't care of about customers and give blank stares and eye rolls in lieu of actual service. You can tell management give them no clear direction, support, or accountability. Employees and management at this location are rude and incompetent. Take your money somewhere else. *Update: After submitting feedback online, I was refunded the next morning. Kudos to corporate. Still think management needs to operate their business and hold their employees to a higher standard. I will never use any online/mobile ordering anywhere due to this experience. Being treated like criminals after the young dumb employees didn't peform their job correctly was very enraging. Glad to have my money back, still will not go back to this...
Read moreI just need to commend the Popeyes establishment for what can only be recognized as a feat of sheer ingenuity, which has only been further improved by the passion and soul that has been infused and is apparent in every single morsel of Popeyes' cuisine. Lil Nicky would be proud that you continue to represent as the SHIZNIT. In a nation of fast-paced, fast-food-obsessed consumers that wear their grease stained shirts like a badge of honor, it's quite a feat to stand out among the rest. America-the-Lard might not be in any imminent danger of losing our rank as the nation with the highest rates of obesity in both children and adults, but flavor and consistency ARE steadily dwindling. Yet here you are, Popeyes, the SHIZNIT indeed. My personal slice of Louisiana heaven is the #7 meal: succulent, perfectly spiced and delicately battered and fried shrimps, which are perfectly complimented by the signature, flaky buttermilk biscuits that I enjoy drowning in golden, sticky-sweet honey, all washed down by sweet tea. It's my own little slice of heaven that only the Popeyes establishment can deliver on.
Furthermore, this specific location has consistently had the quickest service I've ever experienced in the many years of my Popeyes love affair, while somehow simultaneously managing to rank #1 in freshness and quality (in my book) every single freaking time!!!!
Lastly, I want to shout out Daniel who was working the drive-thru about a week ago in the evening, when I came through for my #7 fix and in the process of grabbing my change and subsequent meal/drink, I dropped money in between the drive-thru window and my car and I was so flustered by the fact that I couldn't open up the car door wide enough to get out to retrieve it, that I knocked my vape out and it slid under the car. But before I had a chance to start to panic, and without hesitation, Daniel came around to assist me and he literally got down on his hands and knees and retrieved the cash and my vape from underneath the vehicle! He wasn't afraid to get his hands (and his khakis) dirty in the name of customer service.
Daniel is the opitomy of a quality, rock-star employee. Anyone in a customer service based position should aspire to uphold such standards!
Daniel, if it was up to me you'd get employee of...
