If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. Susi’s Restaurant is one of those hidden gems you just have to recommend because the whole experience is outstanding.

From the moment you walk in, the ladies serving the food are incredibly kind and welcoming. They always treat you with a smile, making you feel right at home. And the food? Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the pozole and the quesadillas They’re our family’s favorites. The cheese quesadillas are huge, perfectly made, and super filling. My kids love them every single time.

What makes it even better is that it’s the perfect spot to enjoy with family. We live about 10–15 miles away, but we happily make the drive because we know the food is worth it and the atmosphere is so warm and inviting.

I was in between errands, had fasted for laboratory tests 12+ hours, was starving & remembered someone had recently recommended this restaurant. Not wanting fast food yet again, I called after checking the menu and was told my order would only take 6-7 minutes for a freshly made quesadilla, my #1 favorite when made correctly. MEH. Unbelievably disappointing especially after the rave reviews. The $10 plates on FB are now all $14. The rice and beans were decent but nothing special. The tortillas were hot and excellent.
