The SO was craving beef noodle soup but after the experience 2 years ago, I was hesitant but finally gave in as they consistently have great reviews and even opened a second location.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - after a terrified first bite, very happy to have given it a second chance! We ordered a Beef Brisket (C3) and Szechuan Beef Brisket (C4) with hand pull noodles. Both dishes were delicious with a peppercorn spice that gives it a more earthy taste from the szechuan soup. The hand pulled noodles were thinner so they absorbed the soup taste better.

Service: 5/5 - very quick to seat us, take our orders, and deliver our food. Despite it being extremely busy, they stopped by to ensure we had enough water. They were taking phone, to-go, and sit-down orders back-to-back and staying extremely organized.

Ambiance: 5/5 - we sat at the counter again but the container of menus is now on the side so it was no longer in front of customers. The large window does let us watch the kitchen and how quickly they move in there!

Value for price: 5/5 - reasonable price, delicious food, and very fast service. Make sure to get there before 6 or there could be a bit of a wait!

------------November 2021------------ This place is highly reviewed so we knew it was a must try. We arrived at 6:15 and it was about a 20 min wait after signing in on the paper.

Would not recommend C3, go to Shang Artisan Noodle instead for beef noodle soup!!

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - very mixed opinion based on dish 5/5 - C1 Lan Zhou with original noodle was delicious. The pulled noodles were a bit inconsistent in size but great flavor and the beef shanks were little slices of happiness. The slight kick from the soup added with the acidity gave it a satisfying finish 1/5 - C3 Beef Brisket with knife cut noodle is the first dish I've ever sent back to the kitchen. Similar to above, the noodles were inconsistent with some extremely thick pieces that absorbed no flavor from the soup. The positive item was that the beef brisket was tender. But the soup was soooooo oily that it almost didn't look like it had any since it was just a layer of oil and something about it didn't taste right. I had to return the dish after about 6 bites because I lost all appetite from the soup. I had to go throw up in the bathroom as we were getting ready to leave T_T 3/5 - F1 House Special Fried Rice was nicely cooked but quite oily as well. The peas seemed like they may have been frozen since they didn't seem to have been cooked through and almost felt tough to bite through

Ambience: 4/5 - crowded (if you're worried about social distancing) but cozy. We sat at the counter and it was a little odd that the container of menu sat almost in front of me so they were constantly picking up and dropping off menus as we ate

Service: 5/5 - very quick and efficient. Some language barrier

Value for price: 3/5 - serving sizes were nice but the fried rice...

Enveloped within the vibrant culinary tapestry of Las Vegas, The Magic Noodle on Fort Apache stands as an exemplar of umami excellence, weaving together flavors that resonate with the very essence of Chinese culinary tradition. My recent sojourn into this epicurean haven was nothing short of a culinary voyage through the history of Chinese noodles, a transcendental experience that beckoned forth the nuances of my Chinese ancestral heritage.

Embarking on a gustatory adventure, I chose the C4 Spicy Szechuan beef brisket with hand-pulled noodles—an ethereal fusion of textures and aromas that invoked a sensory symphony. The robust flavors of the Szechuan spices intermingled with the tender succulence of the beef brisket, creating an uplifting, out-of-body experience. The hand-pulled noodles, a staple to culinary craftsmanship, possessed an ethereal quality that transcended the ordinary, evoking ancestral reminiscences with each savory strand.

In addition to the gastronomic masterpiece that is the C4, I indulged in the culinary poetry of the onion pancakes. The divine crispness of the exterior harmonized seamlessly with the succulent layers within, creating a textural sonnet that resonated with culinary virtuosity. Each bite was an apex of flavors, leaving an indelible foodie spike in my cerebral cortex.

While evident in its well-deserved popularity, the bustling ambiance of The Magic Noodle remained consistent with the impeccable service that accompanied the culinary symphony. The staff exhibited a consummate professionalism, navigating the ceaseless tide of patrons with an unruffled demeanor, ensuring that each dish arrived at the table with a precision befitting a gastronomic ballet.

While the restaurant's popularity may be ascribed to the gravitational pull of its exceptional fare, it is imperative to acknowledge the meticulous attention to detail in every facet of the dining experience. From the intelligent yet understated decor to the seamless choreography of service, The Magic Noodle epitomizes the convergence of culinary prowess and hospitality.

The Magic Noodle on Fort Apache is not merely a dining establishment; it is a gastronomic expedition that beckons connoisseurs and neophytes alike to partake in the alchemy of flavors. The C4 Spicy Szechuan beef brisket with hand-pulled noodles and the onion pancakes serve as culinary magnum opuses, leaving an indelible imprint on the discerning palate. Amidst the symphony of aromas and the kaleidoscope of flavors, The Magic Noodle emerges as a paragon of culinary excellence, inviting patrons to savor the sublime essence of Chinese gastronomy in a setting where sophistication and...

[Above all, will I be back?] As the name of restaurant represents, the noodles were so magical! The soup were nice and hearty I was so loaded and happy when I opened the door to leave :) As a Vegas local, I will drop by this place when I am in the area. I chose knife-cut type noodles this time which was so so, I would like to try hand-pulled noodle next time. Hope they have a lunch special, like package kind of deal!!!!!

Food Chose knife-cut type for both noodles - It is about 0.6-8 inch width, so it is flat/wider kind of noodles. Middle of the noodles seemed to be less perfectly cooked (like 90%) it's not white but a little bit hard, not chewy enough, you know what i mean? I am not sure if it is their cooking style as both noodles were the same.

(4.5/5) Chong Qing Style Spicy Noodle ($11.95) Ground pork, peanuts, pickled veggies, green onion It has thicker soup, I could smell peanut yet proper level of spicy kick. I sweated. Good for a cold day or when you have a cold.

(4.5/5) Szechuan Beef Brisket Noodle ($13.25) Beef Brisket, Vegetables, Green onions, Cilantro The traditional recipe, I liked the perfect combination of spice, noodles and the meat. The meat was so soft with no smells, the soup was wells soaked and the noodles were properly cooked with full of flavor with pepper corn but not too overwhelming.

(5/5) Spicy Wonton (pork, 8pcs) $6.75 It's the bomb! This is the best out of 3 items. I loved the spice when you chew it, and rich meat flavor. The skin was not chewy chewy but good enough chewy. 8 pcs were not enough I was sad to eat one by one. Eat with vinegar to make the taste even better!

Ambience It is a small place with about 15 tables with an open kitchen. You can watch the chef making noodles and other foods. Lively, casual and can be a bit noisy.

Service The staff was friendly and quick. No frills. Food was delivered quickly.

Hygiene The glasses, cups, utensils, the table and floor were clean.

Price Price was affordable, most of noodles are between $10 and $13. Appetizers are less than $10.

Restroom It was clean and well maintained but the hallway to the bathroom was passing by kitchen and it was kinda dirty lol

Location It is conveniently located in Chinatown which is less than 15 minutes from the Strip.

Parking The parking lot is pretty big but can be fill up fast as there are many other restaurants in the plaza.

ETC It is a small joint and so popular, you walk-in and add yourself on the wait list at the kiosk near the entrance.
