Taste Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Spring Valley

Went there for the first time and the wait was a bit long. Service seemed to be fairly "new" and seemed to be a family operated. Given those details, I finally got my meal and I began enjoying it... then... a HAIR was in my food. I immediately took my plate to the counter with all due courtesy and the guy over the kitchen area looked at me and said; with a non shalant look and a shrug with his shoulders "it happens". There is a reason for wearing PPE and hair nets. Even over a pulled back ponytail, right? Cant ask ur employers who are off and on vacation Young man owner offers nothing and asked us what we he can do. He grabs the hair and gave her rice which it was in. Then we said what about the hair get charged for that plate it was 7 off when we added everything up stilll for two if our meals and he like u mean this which was tazaki hahaha NO and he just wow as he knows t0 he saw it. Issue is we heard a ooor girl alone thank gosh I never finished my Salad wasn’t the best and his sandwich we said we have to go we are in a hurry my husband was so sick from it. Stuff came out of buckets. He didn’t even change gloves 🧤 when he touched our food we spied. Definitely needs to be seen by health department, Haven't considered it. Hopefully they will ready this and re-consider their food handling practices.the sauce tazaki has oil in it and he like mix it how long had it been there for we don’t know. Like he ran took scaler in back then put it on the girl he went through double doors and my salad 🥗 was just sitting there he could have it to me why his was being cooked says it’s a restaurant which it isn’t you have to buy water no ice nothing.! Definitely not...

Mood- Turkish Tea

Now I will admit when I saw this was offered. My first thought was to dash over here, didnt really care about the food. Just wanted to drink a memory. If you know me, you know my background re: this

Upon entering it is really neat. There is a spacious outdoor seating area, then the restaurant interior. Questions were asked re: the menu and the orders began. You order at the front counter, pay, find seating and the order is brought out to you.

Opted for the Beef Kabobs, Chicken Kabobs, Chicken Tenders, Fries, Baklava, Chicken Gyros, and of course that Turkish Tea. The place setting for the tea was very authentic for what I remember growing up before prayers. Everything was very well plated and seasoned perfectly. However my highlight was the Baklava and that Tea setting.

Interior has several table and chairs, while the outdoor seating is quite large. It is turning into great weather finally here. So it was perfect for us. Everything was very clean and staff were very hospitable. Music was playing in the background.

Would most def recommend - pricing is a reflection of quality and presentation. Staff answered all of our questions and made sure my table was very well taken care of. I have already plotted my next...

Mediterranean cuisine is my favorite! This was my first time visiting this restaurant; It looks so quaint from the outside. I ordered over the phone the "Kids Beef Kebab and the Loaded Fries (no onions, no olives)"; was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I arrived, the gentleman at the counter greeted me with a big beautiful smile and my order was ready to go, the restaurant is clean and it has a nice courtyard that you can enjoy your lunch or dinner "al fresco". When I got back to work I enjoyed my delicious lunch; my kids kebab meal was the perfect size, meat was tasty, rice was perfect, pita was warm, the loaded fries were the most DELICIOUS, AMAZING, HEAVENLY fries I've ever had in my life, I LOVED that spiciness, I was doing the happy dance 🤣. I shared the fries with my co-workers and they all loved them so I'm sure several of them will be ordering from this restaurant. As for me; I'm definitely coming back to try other items from the menu, specially the lamb...which is my favorite meat.
