Really like this bar and the food, only complaint really is that the bartenders pick and choose when and if they want to comp your drinks when you gamble. I only go there about once every couple months, I sit at the bar, eat, play and have one or two beers. I'm a cocktail waitress, so I know that each bar has rules on how much you have to play before your drink is comped, as I have to follow the same rules where I work. Was just there today and ordered one beer, my husband had two. We both ordered food, which is always great, and both put $20 in our machine. My husband played poker, $1.25 a hand and I was playing keno. I was only playing .50 a hand and I understand they might have rules on how much you have to play a hand as well and that's fine, but we play consistently. Our food arrived before we finished playing that $20. As soon as we were done eating, the bartender gave us our bill, guess she wanted us to leave, I was down to my last $2 and planned on having another beer and playing more, but when I noticed that she had charged for all three beers I decided to just pay and leave. Maybe I just don't like being treated like I'm trying to hussle a free beer. Still tipped her $9 on a $31 tab, and I'm not going to complain to try to have her take a beer off, I will just pay and tip accordingly and leave. I won't put another $20 in and still have to pay for a draft beer though. I guess since I'm not there every week for them to get to know me they just make assumptions and charge. I wouldn't even make a comment about this if it was a one time thing, but it happens every time I go there. Last time I played $40 on triple play poker, had two beers and was charged for one of them. Either you're really strict on how much a person has to play, or your bartenders don't pay attention at all to how much people they don't see every week play. From now on, I won't play at all, I will just pay...

We ordered a chicken quesadilla, philly cheese steak and fries, chicken wings, fish and chips, and chicken fingers... maybe other items as well, I'm not a 100% on it all. I just know it cost a lot. Never the less the only item enjoyed and consumed was the chicken quesadilla, my husband and I shared it, and the plain chicken wings my daughter ate. Other then that the philly had no flavor, the fish wasn't seasoned and was also bland. I asked for the fingers to be mild and they had no flavor. Even the ranch was terrible. How do you get Ranch wrong??? It almost tasted sour and spoiled, it probably was. Anyway, HUGE disappointment, my husband asked me if I wanted him to take the food back and ask for a refund, but being that it was a late Friday night, I insisted he stayed home. We threw away all the food, even though I tried to think of ways to try to save it and create a better dish out of it, I couldn't. I regret not letting my husband go back and get a refund, But lesson learned. We will not be returning..... which sucks cause their location is super convenient for us. And they have a lot of my pregnancy cravings on their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am SO glad I gave timbers another chance. I had not the best experience at another one and they've reached out to me and made everything right. I went into this different location and got the best experience, from the warm welcome in, to the speedy service and finally to how delicious everything was. I had the open faced brisket - delicious, the meat was so tender. My husband had the western BBQ sliders and we had the spinach dip as an app, I ordered an espresso martini as well- so good, normally I prefer them with a bit of bailey's but this one was delightfully strong and tasted and smelled like fresh roasted coffee. the atmosphere was very chill and laid back, the bathrooms were very clean, and this one is only 10 mins away from my house, can't...
