This McDonald’s just continually gets worse. The people are RUDE. I have never gone out of my way to leave any reviews for a restaurant but this is just ridiculous. 3 times in the couple weeks my husband and I have stopped here to get breakfast on the way to work. We came through the first 2 times and sat at the speaker for over 5 minutes and tried asking if anyone was there before anyone ever spoke to acknowledge we were there or take our order. Then they were rude when I asked to get my receipt after they gave my card back. Wouldn’t respond when I tried to say thank you. We almost didn’t get our drinks on the second trip. We had to ask for those and they were basically thrown out the window at us with the lid only half on. This last time we went I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin, and 2 hashbrowns. When we got to the window I asked if I could pay 7 in cash and the rest on a card. It took SEVEN MINUTES for a manager to come help the girl at the register to come complete the transaction because she didn’t know how to do it. Then when I got my receipt they had charged the whole thing to my card and kept my cash. So I had to turn back around and get my cash back from them. Then when we pulled up at work I unwrapped my biscuit to find what was in the picture above. HALF a piece of bacon, no egg, no cheese, and the biscuit was smashed. The cheese on my husbands sausage egg and cheese McMuffin was literally halfway off the sandwich hanging way out the side as if it was just slapped on there in the dark. We are both so done with this place. For MONTHS we have repeatedly tried “giving them another chance” and we try being really polite every time hoping that will make a difference....
Read moreMade a curbside mobile order, pulled into the marked spot and checked in. 30 minutes after waiting for my order I went in and they hadn't even started making it, was ignored at the counter for another 5 minutes with staff right in front of me. Other staff in the back was laughing and playing, Finally staff member saw fit to acknowledge my presence while I politely waited, ( What you want? ) was how I was acknowledged, I told staff member I had made a mobile curbside order in spot 6 30 minutes ago and they finally started making my order while being rude the entire time. If this is how a fast food chain presents their services and customer service then I do not need to spend my money with this particular chain and especially this particular location in New Albany, I would suggest you go anywhere but there. I never have much hassle at any other place in New Albany but the last 2 times I've been here I got exceptionally poor service and plenty of rudeness. The place either needs new staff or shut down, McDonald's is not known for great service but this place is demeaning the chains name in such a way I've never seen anywhere from any fast food chain. If I could have given no stars or better yet negative stars I would, I overlooked the last time because everyone has bad days but now a pattern is established with the same staff member working the front though she was on the headset, in the back or playing with her phone much more than serving the customers and her main service for customers was rudeness. I don't see me going back and if I do it will be with enough time passed to hopefully have better staff members. This McDonald's used to be one of the best around the area and now its the worst location I've ever seen...
Read moreThis is the RUDEST restaurant I’ve ever been to. If you want employees who talk about you like you aren’t there, then dine here. It all started when I asked my mom to get me some tartar sauce because mine barely had any on it and was as dry as can be. I’m guessing the lady who was in charge (was sitting in a booth and talking to another employee) loudly tells the employee across the restaurant that we have to pay for that sauce. So, crazy me thinks…oh, well let me show her that my sandwich has maybe a 1/3 tsp (if that) of sauce on it, and she’ll understand. Nope! She doesn’t even acknowledge the lack of sauce on my sandwich but gives me an education on the “guns” they use, and that was the right amount. I guess it never dawned on her that the gun didn’t work properly or it was user error. As I was walking away, I mentioned that we needed a way to complain if that was the excuse. So my mother goes to pay for it, and still sitting in the booth, she loudly says, “Don’t charge for that. I don’t want them complaining.” After that, she and her friends continued to talk about condiments, guns, and everything that had just gone down for the next 10 mins……like we weren’t even there. How in the world I left that restaurant without totally losing my cool is nothing short of a miracle. I will never eat at this restaurant again. Oh, and for the record, I am 42 years old and have never left a...
