2 Sisters’ Diner Seafood & Steak — Restaurant in New Albany

The staff seem overwhelmed when we arrived as a large party was just paying the cashier...they confused our entry with their exit and it took at least 3 or 4 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The sign said to wait for the hostess to seat us then when she finally realized we were waiting to be seated she said to just set anywhere we wanted??? Thus disregarding the sign. After the initial kerfluffle, the server was friendly...but service was slow...we ordered salads to start and she came back and said she did not like the way the lettuce looked so they were going to the local Wal-Mart to re-supply and would be a 45 min wait for salad...so we ordered something else...but I have a feeling we would have been better to have ordered breakfast. Seemed like a nice little breakfast diner that was trying to also do lunch and dinner... We ( and they) should have stuck with breakfast. I will say that this was a very clean restraunt, and we noted that when they disinfected the tables they also wiped salt and pepper shakers, napkin holders, etc. which was nice to see, however, not a mask in sight...like the pandemic was not even given a...

We were in the area on a holiday morning and searched online for a local owned restaurant to eat at and we were incredibly impressed with all our food and very friendly service. We could tell all the locals already knew about this gem of a restaurant because everyone seemed to know each other and were talking to each other about their families. Absolutely the best French toast I’ve ever had and grits and hash browns were amazing as well and this comment is coming from someone who eats breakfast regularly and tries different restaurants but not really a fan of breakfast. The big breakfast my husband had was also amazing. We both were enjoying every bite and kept talking about our food throughout the meal and after we left also. We will definitely go back when we are in the area and we have been spreading the word to our friends...

First of all I wanna start with the looks i recieved from the WORKERS for having holes in my clothes and a dirty shirt from work. Considering I had just gotten off and wanted to get me and my daughter some food If I could give 0 stars I would no hesitation. You walk in to a HICK environment full of the "regular customers" who just blatantly stare at you as if you are a diseased rat. Made me feel completely uncomfortable and out of place. Way way Overpriced food and just all around bad place to bring your kids if your not from the area and meet their standards as a "fit customer" I didnt spend any money there and I refuse to give them my business a negative 10 out of 5...
