Acushnet Creamery at Pier 3 — Restaurant in New Bedford

Friendly staff, but ordered a Sunday and got 3 scoops of ice-cream only. Come on people, try to get an American staple dessert right. I always give a tip with an expectation that the order will atleast be right. It's just a mistake and not a failure. 7/9/25: Provided a review yesterday for this establishment at which time my experience warranted 3 stars. However, I received a reply from the New Bedford Pier 3 Acushnet Creamery and must now downgrade this establishment based on their response for the following reasons: in their response, rather than taking accountability for their mistake they blamed me, the customer, for not telling them at the windows about the poorly made "Sunday ". The truth is that I did not eat the ice-cream scoops(billed as a Sunday)at the windows and I held out hope that there would atleast be chocolate syrup at the bottom because I actually liked the staff. Unfortunately I'll never be visiting that Acushnet (Pier 3) again, I'd rather drive to the main one in Acushnet. Someone needs to train the staff at Pier 3 better. I've been there manytimes but lately when I've ordered a small, medium or large I get the same size which is around small. I first noticed this when I ordered a medium and it was smaller than I had remembered, so next time I ordered a large - but I actually got a smaller size than I even did the last time. I wasn't in the mood to complain with my order in my hand so I let it go.

Doesn't make sense to pay more if I'm being handed the same size (smaill-medium) every time. I'm not being a troll, I'm a genuine supporter of Acushnet local ice cream/cakes. Found this little gem last month and this is my second time here. We love this homemade ice cream. The server was very friendly who welcome me with a smile on her face.
