I will never order from this place again. I'm going to be 76 next month and live on a very limited income so I don't do take out much due to the cost, but I decided to order a Seafood Platter because hadn't had one in a long time. I called in the order so that I could make sure I would get the whole belly clams and not strips. I expected it would take a bit of time for delivery as it was a Friday and they would be busy. Cost of platter online is $32.99, on there menu, I was charged $34.95 on my card. I received a Clam Platter and not Seafood Platter. Also let's keep in mind that FB has an ad from Mikey B's stating that their JULY SPECIAL for a Seafood Platter is $29.99. This order was on 7/11/25 so what is the CORRECT PRICE? I called and was told that if I wanted the Seafood they would send another order but it would cost me an additional 10 Bucks or so. When I called it was the same girl that took my order originally. I had already waited 45 min for this so didn't want to wait longer. I called back a 2nd time as I was still unsettled and spoke to a different girl. She told me that they had a new system and sometimes was confusing to staff when placing orders and I would have to speak to a Manager the next day. Called the following day to find out Manager had been there but it was her day off and had just left and to call back Monday which I did. In asking for the Manager the girl that answered phone told me SHE was the Manager Christine and that she was the one who had originally taken my order over the phone and I was charged for Clam Platter plus delivery and if I had a Seafood Platter it would have been over $40.00. Was told that she spoke to owner but he would only allow me to have a Restaurant Credit of $15.00. In asking if they could credit my card I was informed that the owner WOULD NOT do that only an inhouse Credit. I explained to her that because of my income I DO NOT order out often as I can't afford it. I also was upset that the day of my order when I called back she DID NOT inform me that SHE was the MANAGER. And the 2nd time I called back I was not told the Manager was there, only that I would have to speak to the Manager. Also if the order had been placed correctly I would have questioned the total amount of charge and then would have known of the delivery fee and AT THAT TIME would have made the decision to replace the Seafood Platter with something else such as Fish n Chips and not a Clam Platter. In addition I informed her that the Clams were over cooked and rubbery and was totally dissatisfied with the order. She told me she would contact the owner and speak to him again and would get back to me, which I DO NOT believe will happen, WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING A MANAGER if they CANNOT Credit a Customer with a complaint such as Mine.....WRONG ORDER AND TERRIBLE FOOD. I have been a Manager in my past employment and I ALWAYS tried to SATISFY a CUSTOMER and did not give them the run around. THIS IS TERRIBLE SERVICE and would not want anyone else to have to go through this. Evidently it's all about them making money and not Customer...
Read moreMy wife and I tried a new restaurant and it was very good. Mikey B's was very clean, great atmosphere and our Server, Miss Deija was terrific. We started out with the stuffed mushroom caps, which were the best. We also had potato skins, which were ok, but not any different than anywhere else and could have had more cheese on them. My wife had the fish and chips and clam chowder. She enjoyed the flavor and the fish was cooked just right, although she thought the portion could have been a little larger for the price and she didn't finish her clam chowder, which was very bland. I had the Portuguese Steak. The steak was not a whole steak, but pieces of steak medalions, covered with and egg. The steak and egg were cooked just right. The sauce was a little different than I'm used to, a little heavier and almost tasted like it was mixed with a little bit of beef gravy. The rice was out of this world and cooked just right. A side of fries and a Portuguese pop roll which was hard in the middle, but not enough to complain about. My portion was well worth the price. My Cousin had the fried Clam Plate, which he thought was very good. He couldn't finish his meal and had to take some home. His wife had the Baked Stuffed Shrimp. She loved her meal and thought that the portion was just right for her and was cooked perfectly. Our Server, Miss Deija was constantly at our table asking how the food was and if there was anything else that she could get for us. I decided to get the Nachos Grande to take home. I found that the cheese, salsa and hot peppers were a little skimpy compared to the amount of chips that I got, along with 1 small container of sour cream. The desert menu was small with nothing that sounded out of this world to try, so we skipped desert. The bill was a little over $100, (not including tip), for my wife and I. A little pricey, however, not ridiculous considering that we had gotten 3 appetizers, 2 entrees and my wife had a beer and I had an ice tea. All said, at the end of the day, we had a good time and we did not leave hungry. I think that if the portions were just a little larger, the prices would be in the ball park. Thank you very much. Read moreI bought food from here multiple times prior and its was delicious. BUT, this time really upset me. The other day my mother and I were driving up from Fall River; about an hour or so away. I decided to order via Doordash just to make it more simple for me and the whole "ordering" process. I put in my order like usual, and the total comes out to $80. Of course the money gets taken and we continue our drive to here. We arrive and wait probably 30 or so minutes and one of the employees comes up to our window and asks if we ordered online, i told her it was via Doordash and gave her my name. She proceeds to tell me they cant do Doordash orders because it doesn't show on their end when we arrived, but Doordash tells me on my end they do get the notification. My mother and i now find it sketchy but shrug it off. about 20 minutes later Doordash tells me to contact the restaurant in order to get an ETA, so my mother gets out of the car and goes to the pick up window. They proceed to tell her that the food still isn't done but then says "its right over there" and points to a bag that just had a single plate of food in it along with utensils. mind you $80 worth of food isn't just a single platter... She then gets an attitude back from the other employees who are ON THEIR PHONE NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO ANYTHING GOING ON. Then another one of the employees says "oh its right here" and slides a bag over in front of the pick up window while just awhile ago said that it was sitting in a corner. One of the girls held of a reciept too to show my mother "the total would be-" when my mother stated i paid via Doordash. They didn't open the pick up window enough either for my mother to get the bag out of the window to begin with. They tried to SCAM me for $80... Needless to say i'll never come here again, no matter how good the food is. Don't treat your customers who spend tons of money like trash.
TLDR; Terrible service; no need to any attitude when all we did was be nice and politely ask, waited over 2 hours for $80 worth of food, and tried to take even more...
