I decided to take a late evening stroll with my little one and have dinner at Royal Grille. To my surprise, as we walked in the restaurant, it was empty at around 8:30PM. Turns out kitchen closes at 9PM. Google indicated that it's opened till 12 AM but didn't specify kitchen hours. Long story short, I order "Fish and Chips" and it was a huge waste of my money. Rice that was put on the side was sticky with a 'soapy/pan ' taste- nothing "Portuguese" about it. The fries were burned or extra greasy because it was probably just warmed up. I had to pick the 'okay' looking ones and pat it with my napkin to take away some of the oil. The fried fish had a batter with pieces of the eggshell and was not fully fried. My thing why didn't the waitress check in with the kitchen to make sure I can get quality food for what they still had out since she said the kitchen was closing in "10 min" Waitress didn't charge for kids' apple juice for my sons'' warm hug' - Thanks. Now I know the kitchen hours and that the food is trash if you go right before they close. ugh...

She has a major attitude problem no matter if she's speaking to a customer, or one of the other girls who work there. One of the other girls, an absolute sweet heart with a great positive attitude kindly let her know that the bag she handed me was another person's salad and not the meal I ordered. She stuck her hand up toward the other girl's face and said "don't worry about what I'm doing, worry about what you're doing. With an attitude, and then proceeded to huff n puff when I asked for a fork. Also, another time I went in there, I was "greeted" with "what do you want?" By her. The owner, Carlos, at first seemed nice but he owns the apartment building next door and treats his english speaking tenants like garbage, even though they are the only ones who help him. Wendy needs to find a new job away from the public. she has no respect. Thinks she...
