It is what the other reviewers said. The flavor is there. I ordered the curry noodle and I can honestly taste the coconut milk and curry spices in the broth. Meat was tender and the toppings especially the diced pickles add to the savory flavor. Also ordered their papaya salad and it's like the one I order in the west coast. Beware though that it can get spicy so order at your own risk. Mango sticky rice could improve a little bit. The rice is not as chewy as I like; the sesame seeds were not there although their menu shows these should be.

We had a great experience at Roots! Our server sat us quickly, gave us menus/took our orders, and was incredibly attentive and kind throughout. We started with the tea leaf salad—so fresh and flavorful. My mother-in-law had the Thai chicken pho, and my husband and I both got the pad thai—everything was delicious. We finished with mango sticky rice, one of my favorites, and it did not disappoint. Great food and service all around!

We had a great experience at Roots! Our server sat us quickly, gave us menus/took our orders, and was incredibly attentive and kind throughout. Came into this new spot the other night. The staff were all really polite and attentive to us. My husband and I got an appetizer for each of us. I got the samosas and he got the spring rolls. Both came out tasting hot and fresh! The seasoning was on point, and the side sauce was AMAZING. I got the house fried rice which was a huge serving with an over easy egg on top. The veggies were nice and tender, and the seasoning was once again on point! Will definitely be...

From the first appetizer samosa, accompanied by its vibrant and perfectly balanced sauce, this meal was a culinary delight. The berry soda was a nice burst of refreshing flavors. The main course, a Thai basil beef, was executed nicely. The beef was tender, the basil fragrant, and the sauce a symphony of flavors.
