Subway — Restaurant in New Bern

I ordered a curbside order which was ready quickly, but that was the only positive. The order of a Steak and Cheese protein bowl only had lettuce and green peppers added, so it felt fairly simple: steak, cheese, lettuce, green peppers. However, there was no cheese in the Steak and Cheese bowl, despite that being the title of the bowl. Beyond that, we made it a meal deal ... but the chips weren't included. And to top it off, the drink was only 2/3 full (not because of ice -- just no where close to the top) which essentially meant we paid for a meal deal and never got it.

I emailed the manager and he said he was sorry and his employees were "trained to strict food prep guidelines" ... which doesn't address the fact that I paid for goods I didn't receive. Their food prep training has nothing to do with inattention to orders and not giving people what they paid for. I thanked him for his apology but told him I'd like to receive what I'd paid for and he never responded. I will certainly not be frequenting this establishment again when other restaurants give you what...

Dropped bags on the floor. Worried more about tip money. Didn't know what meat came on subs, mind you the one employee that didn't know asked another and that one didn't know either. When I asked for mayo first that meant I wanted it first. The girl waited til the end to put it on. There were old clumped up pieces of spinach on top of the spinach. I had to specify that I wanted fresh spinach and she said oh u want some good spinach. The guy touched money and continued to make the sub in front of me with the same gloves. I had already paid for my order and wanted to show the new lady from the back because it had gotten busy and she proceeded to say where did you get the change from (which was a 5) and I said because I paid her with a 20. She then said well I wanted that d@*n money. I was so shocked. I have never in my life dealt with such mess in a subway. I will never go back in...

The bald medium Caucasian guy who works there licked his glove to pull it up with his mouth then continued to make my meatball sub then I was thinking I know I’m not seeing what I think i think I just saw , I hope the manager rewinds the camera back around 9:09 / 12:09 to see what he did on camera ! He had the nerve to ask me why did I want to cancel my order I didn’t say because I know he already knew ! Then he said leave and kicked me out I haven’t ate at this location in years! Gave it a second chance and I will never return too many germs and diseases out here to be playing those type of games with ppl food and life right in their face just sick and low down...
