Orange Leaf — Restaurant in New Braunfels

I was so shocked by my experience at this location today. I took my 2 daughters (5 and 10) ..and when I got to the toppings bar I realized the teenage employee was telling my daughter she was putting on too many toppings and telling her not to spill them (she wasn't). She told her not to be getting the spoon dirty with it touching the ice cream. I let it go.

After we are sitting for about 10 minutes she proceeds to come over to our table and interrupt to tell me she "really recommends I watch my kids next time at the toppings bar." I'm pretty nonconfrontational so I didn't know what to say. Even my 10 year old said "I can't believe she told you that."

After leaving I decided to call and speak to the manager and the same employee informs me that the manager isn't there and doenst come in except to stock and that's unscheduled. She couldn't even give me a phone number to get in contact with them even though she was on a phone call with them while i was there. She insisted I had to contact them at their hotmail email address.

I went with my family for the first time and we waited on line due to a family that had coupons but they mention that kinda late, so the attendant took her time fixing their bill and they even got a card for a free one due the bother even thought they kinda created that by not showing the coupons at the beginning while me and my family waited and on top of that the yogurt melted a bit, the attendant did apologize for the waiting but that's it, I hope it didn't had to do with us being Hispanic and the family in front being white, so sad how things are turning up with all this hatred, I have been at the one on East Military drive, such a nice people there but in New Braunfels I believe...

My kid and I come here like every other week and usually there is this one specific red head girl and another girl here and they talk so loud about their boyfriends and scheduling issues no it’s not that terrible but more annoying than not. Fast forward to today, I got a waffle bowl with chocolate different than my usual but it’s chocolate so how bad could it be? For whatever reason I did not like the flavor so I asked if I could get something different and was told she could give me a small discount but that I could not swap it out.
