Ordered take-out and came in to pick it up. I was so looking forward to a T-bone steak and I usually get good ones at Longhorn. When I go to a restaurant I look at 3 things. Food, Service and cleanliness. The restaurant business is is simple. Get those 3 right and you will be set. So... The food. Below expectations. The baked potato had sour cream with it when and I requested it not to. The steak was overdone, I asked for Medium, it was past welldone. The service. I walked in and it was slow, there was no one at the hostess station but I didn't need them anyway, I was getting pickup so I walked to the bar. A couple of people walked by, and even looked at me but they continued their conversations in the back. Now, when the young lady came and greeted me after a solid 5 minutes of me standing there without being greeted at all she was nice and friendly, and another employee walked by and greeted me as well a few minutes later. Cleanliness. The floors were clean, the countertop was a little sticky but it was humid in there so maybe that's why. If you are still reading, I want to make it clear that I am not nit picking, I am hoping that the management sees this and uses it constructively. It was not terrible, but it was below my expectations for Longhorn.

Ordered their most expensive steak, the Long Horn Porterhouse. It was my birthday and I and my wife wanted to share a special meal. This may have been the worst steak I have ever had the unfortunate experience to try to eat. My wife wanted it medium well, so that is what we asked for. Should be hot pink center, but most good steak houses will cook under or less than ordered because the steak will rest, or continue to cook after it is removed from the grill. It came to us 30 minutes after we ordered it and it was more than WELL DONE. The meat was tough, dry, and extremely salty. We spent over $30 on a steak that was basically uneatable. The baked potato was "rolled" in salt and was overpowering. I can not believe Long Horn would produce such a product. I told and showed the server this steak and they said, "yes, it is way over done. Sorry", and that was it. See attached pics. They do not lie. Contacted the restaurant and they comped me only for this steak. This experience ruined our special day. In addition, the wait staff was very rushed and inattentive. This coupled with the stated 20 wait for a table that turned into 35 mins made this an outing not to remember.

No masks worn by most of staff and none worn by customers. They brought out a small warm wheat loaf with our drinks. Our appetizer of mushrooms with cheese was hot and delicious. We ordered a children's grilled chicken n Mac n cheese from a box. Chicken was very dry. I ordered a peppered steak salad, but you have to ask for dressing on the side or they'll drown it. There were very few pieces of steak, perfectly cooked though. I ordered a side tortilla soup and it had lots of cumin, no cheese, and no avocado. It's a light meal if you're not very hungry. My daughter ordered a salad drowned in Ranch, a medium ribeye, that was very charred on the outside but because she was so hungry and our waitress couldn't be found, she ate half. She also had a baked potato. We've been here about five time, but today's meal was not up to par and there wasn't a lot of customers at the time, 1:00, for them to rush our order. The waitress said she'd tell her manager about the steak, but we never heard from them. Enjoy the relaxing water fountain before you enter, or afterwards.

Quite a while ago now Sally and I had occasion to pull over at an Outback restaurant and sample their aboriginal fare for the first time. We chose their famous steak an eagerly awaited their bovine treat. All I can say is, if we had been ordered to eat all of the steak, we'd still be there. When your serrated knife won't go through it, you know disappointment is just around the corner. Our jaws couldn't take anymore and left disgusted. On Friday evening we stopped by our local Longhorn Restaurant on a whim. Naturally, we would've invited our friend Bill Mayo but our spontaneity even surprised us as we pulled into the parking lot. So, it would have to be "Hold the Mayo" that evening! As we entered the establishment, the cry went out from pretty Paula the maitre d' "Do you have reservations?" To which I replied "Yes, but we decided to come anyway, titter, titter. Paula turned on her heels with a "Follow me please" and pretended she didn't hear my well-worn quip. She led us to a booth and handed us a couple of menus. Personally, I love booths. Warm, comfortable, isolated and cozy. Like Michael Corleone, I feel it's harder to get shot in the back. A big plus in my book. Within seconds Jamie smooshed in from the wings and declared herself to be our server that evening. To which we replied that we'd be her fammished eaters. "Have you had a chance to look at the menu and would you like a starter? Have you thought of something to drink...a cocktail perhaps?" "No, yes, maybe!" We thought we'd dive into a portion of battered onion chips as a starter and swish it down with some ice tea. Oh yes, nothing but top shelf for my bride. Jamie came back in short order with our drinks, onion dish and some bread and butter. As we unfurled our napkins to reveal our fighting irons for the upcoming bout, Sally brandished the Bowie replica with the heft of a Claymore in front of Jamie and remarked that we hoped that the meat would arrive at the table already deceased! Also hoping that the meat wouldn't require the knife's obvious sharpness and weight to get the job done. The server was lost for words but reassured us we wouldn't have any trouble. I was in that comfort food frame of mind and opted for a boneless ribeye, medium rare with the usual sides, as did Sally. While we waited for the entres to arrive, we scanned the interior of the restaurant. The walls were adorned with large paintings of the Sierras and Rockies. You know, the kind of terrain Longhorns and mountain goats like to frolic in. Ta dah! The unabashed meatlover's plates had arrived. The generous portions looked hot, seasoned and the side dishes appeared to be enticing. I sliced into the short end of the steak and revealed 'medium rare' at its finest. The amalgamation of perfect taste, heat and texture drew my breath away. I was overwhelmed by the shock of epicurean pleasure. The seasoning was peppery but not too salty. Too much salt is nearly as bad as too little in my opinion. The tenderness factor did not require the supplied bowie knife to cleve the beef. All in all, a steak to be envied by "any" restaurant in town. As far as value is concerned, I'd give that high marks too as I've eaten at steakhouses with price tags two to three times the cost and have come away less than impressed. We both left the restaurant with a mutual declaration of "We'll be back!". Thank you Longhorn for restoring our faith in...

Very disappointed, And I have eaten too many LongHorn Steak house restaurants. This Particular franchise What’s the different? I arrived at the restaurant around noon on the following day 4 November 2024. My bussiness partner was already there and Seated. They had already ordered their meal and drink. The Waitress walk pass us about 4 time before we had to stop her to place my order. My business parter ordered the 6oz Steak and some Broccoli. Which had to be returned twice because they forgot Prepare to her order. Meanwhile I just ordered a Cesar salad that took her about 20 mins to being out. My friend had just about finished her meal. After she brought it out and place it at the end of the table and walk away without asking me if I needed anything. I look away to see if there was another Waitress that I could Flagdale for some blue cheese. That took 6 mins before the manager came up and ask if there was anything else I needed. Meanwhile my Waitress pass us Twice! That’s was the last Straw.I knew something was wrong with this Particular franchise, because the restaurant wasn’t Busy at all. To top it off, I was not going to leave it till but my bussiness Partner persuaded me to do so. I left a $5.00 tip for a Poor service. After leaving the Restaurant and about 10 mins away. I realize my Waitress gave me the ticket, but never gave me back my card. And this was a Platinum Card. I Immediately froze my card and call back to see if they had the card. Someone Replied to me that they had it. I return to the Restaurant to pick it up! The front waitress asked me for an ID to make sure it was me. Meanwhile my Waitress was stand within 2 feet away as me and the Hostess was Speaking and looked around and never said anything. No apologies Nothing. Very Disappointing! Soon the Manager came out and brought me the card and never said I’m sorry about what happened or even to say we are sorry. Just Hand me the card and turn and walk away. This Particular Longhorn restaurant needs very close attention. And I’m sure that Waitress just may have other Activity going on. I have never Receive this kind of Service from any of the Franchise I have eaten at. ( Military Retiree) poor service and very poor Manager...

I love Longhorn and eat at them in many different locations and will continue to. However I was traveling and after eating at McDonalds and other fast food way too many times, I checked into my hotel and was ready to sit down, relax and have a nice steak dinner. So I walk in around 8pm and immediately see a mess, dirty tables, trash overflowing, dirty floor and not too many people, it was quiet, so I'm thinking they must have been swamped and now catching up. However most of the employees were standing around, on their phone or talking to other employees. Finally a person came to sit me and out of a large restaurant with many open tables she decides to sit me right next to a noisy party of 6 and several other parties of 4 all around. So I politely said not a good spot, I'm by myself, its late in the evening, I'm tired and want some quiet space. So she takes me over to another table on the other side, next to a party of 10 or 12!! I'm thinking really wth! so I tell her I will sit at the bar IF ANYONE is working at it, because there was no one at the bar no host, bartender or people, except 3 employees standing at the end of the bar next to the kitchen talking and on there phones. She assured me someone would take care of me, so I went to sit at the bar and first off had to find a clean area of the bar, which was next to leftover plates of food, and just food scraps everywhere like none of the bar had been cleaned in hours! While the 3 employees stood at the end talking and not working. Again maybe they were swamped and all these customers just left. So when she came to take my order I asked if they were swamped before I came in and she said NO. OK I'm thinking then why is the place so gross. I ordered a drink when I never really drink, but needed to relax and while waiting looked over to the kitchen you could see inside and it was a mess as well, so when she brought the drink back and asked for my order without even thinking about cleaning up all the gross food all around me, I changed my mind and said I can't eat here this place is a mess. So she says "I was about to clean it up" I'm thinking really! I'm done, and didn't eat there and as much as I wanted to the next...
