I normally would give this establishment 5 stars but this visit was a big disappointment. I come to this location frequently, order the same thing almost every time and have never been let down until tonight. The staff was beyond lazy. It was 7:30 PM on a Tuesday with about 12 tables and staff just standing around. They have a sign that says please wait to be seated yet we were told to find a seat and wait for a server. After 5 mins the bus boy finally came over and got our drink order and gave us menus (tea and DP) but only 1 drink was delivered to the table. My son waited about 5 more mins for his DP. We finally got to order 5 mins after his drink came. There was another table in our section that was there before us that hadn't even been waited on for anything. They finally had to get up to let someone know they hadn't been helped at all. I felt bad for the service they weren't getting even after bringing it to the servers attention!
I ordered the enchiladas con crema like I do everytime and was highly disappointed to find the tortillas were so hard it took a knife to cut the first bite and when I tasted it the enchiladas tasted like alfredo sauce with cilantro with an excess amount of pepper. It's like it was reheated in a microwave. When our server came to finally ask how everything was, I first said "OK" then decided to let her know it wasn't and explained that I come here a lot and the service, food and overall attention to the customers tonight was terrible and not how this establishment normally operates and was a poor reflection of the business. I was told how sorry she was and then given a lot of excuses why she wasnt able to perform her job. All of which was just that, EXCUSES! She didnt even offer for her manager to come talk to me. I was a server for almost 15 years and if I had an unhappy table I knew that meant my tip was on the line. This girl didnt know what to do and honestly came across like she didnt care. When I went to check out, another server told me my server would be right up to check me out and that was it for me. I did tell them "Are you sure she will be bc she has taken forever and this is the worst experience I've ever had here." Again it was I'm sorry but still no mention of getting the manager. I finally asked if there was a manager on duty and if there was if I could to speak to them. The manager came out, I told her everything in this post and that there should be no reason for such a lack of service or quality like there was tonight and that she as a manager should have more presence on the floor because the staff was just plain lazy and not attentive. She apologized and agreed that the business wasn't busy and there is no reason that our experience should have been what it was and that they had a new cook. Ultimately though it was just me voicing training opportunities. She told me to ask for her next time and would make sure our next visit was exceptional. That's the thing though it should be exceptional and attentive at all times to everyone not just when someone brings it to your attention. Not to mention the entire time I was speaking to the manager our server was mocking me to another employee with her back to me. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! My dinner plate was supposed to be removed from my check and she even checked that it was, but low and behold it wasn't removed. I'm NOT saying this is a bad restaurant, but I am saying this was a bad enough experience for me to write a review. Even with this bad dining experience I did still give our waitress a tip. Did she deserve it for her services? NO! But I have been that server, who's had a bad day and cant seem to catch my breath. I'm sure she has a kid at home or some sort of struggles weighing her down and I didnt want to leave her feeling less than she is when she is doing the best she can. This review is an overall experience from 1 night out of the many nights I have visited. I hope they get back to the quality and attentiveness I have come to expect...

The West Point Villiage Las Palapas is great - which means that this particular Las Palapas in Creekside must be poorly managed. The biggest issue though is they arent just late with your delievery order EVERYTIME at Creekside but they are more than a little mean or rude...they are absolutely cruel to your driver, they are angry folks taking it out on working ppl just trying to make ends meet.
This Las Palapas location definitely does not prioritize delievery orders-its soooo bad that it 💯 has to be purposeful, they can't posibbly give a damn about their delievery customers much less the delivery drivers they outsource their labor to.
What makes the Las Palapas staff particularly horrible is they will tell delievery drivers that the food is almost ready and that driver will still be waiting 10-30+++ minutes later PASSED the pick up time which usually results in that driver (who was there on time) making less than min. wage bc they kept thinking the food was about to be ready so they stayed waiting. And god forbid a delievery driver ask for the updated pick up time -the staff here are already sooooooooo ramped up & ready to scream, insult you and mock you. I've picked up here at least a dozen times and everytime is like this.
DO NOT ORDER DELIEVERY from this location. They won't prioritize your delivery order and they treat the person delievering to yo like dog poop. If your ordering Mexican food delivery on this side of town....Lupes is pretty much next door, Chuys just opened, and you also have several mom 'n' pops to choose from who will get your order done when...
Read moreI went to Las palapas last night (7/19/21) for my pick up order that I was told would be ready by 8:40-8-50. I showed up at about 8:40 go inside to get my order, I stand there for 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to assist me. I made eye contact with multiple employees who just turned around and ignored me, and went on talking to their friends. So I go back out to my car and decided to go through the drive thru where I'm told that I have to go back inside to pick up my order, I told her that I was just inside to pick it up and was waiting for a while and no one helped me, she told me that I had to go back inside to pick up the food as its through a different system. If the food was already paid for, why can't you just hand it out the window? So I go back inside where there are now 4-5 people standing up front most of which i had already made eye contact with and they just ignored me earlier on. I finally get helped and I get charged a second time, and im told that my food still isn't ready, at this point its 9 o'clock and my food should have been done 10-20 minutes ago. I finally end up leaving with my food at about 9:10. I get home and I have double beans, I did not ask for double beans. If you ran out of rice why didn't you tell me and then ask what I wanted instead? The floutas there over done, and the fish tacos had no flavor whatsoeverever. The only reason Im giving this place one star is because the manager voided the second charge. Poor customer service, food is not worth the price they are charging for it. I've worked in the food industry for 3 years. I know how it can get, but let me tell you, my manager would have fired all of us if we acted the way these...
