We may have just come at the worse time but this place has a horrible layout. We walk in and there is no one to greet us and there’s no sign saying to wait to be seated, so instead of blocking the doorway we just assumed we walk to the counter in front of us that has a POS system and a staff member behind it where you order and then take a number and sit down. The girl simply asked if we were ready to order and we did. Paid, sat down. 20 mins go by my wife didn’t get the water she asked for and I didn’t get my coffee. Then we have a Togo bag given to us and a now melted iced coffee (we never got the water) At no point did we know we were making a to go order. It wasn’t til we left did we even notice a host stand shoved in the corner with dirty dishes on top of it with no menus or host/manager there trying to seat people. No server attempted to approach us and the dining room was probably at a 50% occupancy so they weren’t in the weeds they were just talking amongst themselves ..We were super bummed that the slightest bit of attention from staff or even a visible sign would have made this experience much less confusing. Instead of complaining.we opted to just leave with the To go order because we didn’t want to take up a servers table any longer than what we had been without knowing. When we were handed our order we were told utensils were in the bag. Which they weren’t so we just ate in our car with our fingers. On top of that, the fried chicken and waffles I ordered was directly thrown on Styrofoam fresh out the fryer with no time to cool and with no liner so the styrofoam melted onto the food. Insanely toxic. Didn’t even get to eat much of it because of that.We were really hoping this was an awesome place given the pictures and reviews but now we know all the 5-star reviews are on here because you get a gift card when you write one…They are literally review bribing for a score they weren’t even trying to earn at the slightest. We stopped by Wafflelious to grab some to-go meals before heading out on vacation, hoping for a tasty start to our trip. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.
To begin with, our order was missing the coffee we paid for. We ordered two kids’ meals, one adult waffle meal, and a chicken and waffle dish. The chicken left much to be desired—it wasn’t seasoned and came topped with egg and arugula (or something similar), which didn’t complement the flavors at all. It ended up tasting rather unpleasant.
As for the waffles, both the adult and kids' portions were nearly identical in size, with the adult one simply folded over. There wasn’t much flavor to them, and they were very flat—definitely not what you’d expect if you're looking for a classic Belgian-style waffle with some thickness and texture.
Inside the restaurant, it was noticeably smoky, likely due to poor ventilation in the kitchen, which added to the overall underwhelming impression.

We came for breakfast on Saturday and was told there was a 20 min wait no big deal there is just nowhere to wait so you have to stand outside. We waited about 30 minutes when we were finally seated. We ordered our drinks as we looked over the menus. When the waitress came back with our drinks she said the fan was out in the kitchen and everyone was hot and it was smoky in there. She said we couldn’t order anything on the menu that was fried. That’s the whole menu except waffles and fruit but I like to have some protein. We asked for boiled eggs she said no but she could do a sandwich. We decided to leave after disappointment. The waitress had the nerve to say let me get your check for the drinks we never got to touch. Why bring us drinks after telling us we can’t order anything the other tables are eating and making us wait. Total of 50 mins wasted and we still have to go find somewhere else to eat. No manager owner no one apologized. In the food industry if your fan isn’t working you should shut down. You don’t want people sweating...
