CHINA SEA — Restaurant in New Brighton

I wasn't very impressed with the overall quality or quantity from China Sea, especially for the price. I paid around $40 to get dinner for two and I feel that what we got wasn't exactly worth the same price that I can get groceries for the week for; especially considering the amount we got only fed us that night and the next night. For the same price, I've had different Chinese places in the area that will put a little bit more "love" into their dishes; i.e.: bean sprouts, egg, onions, peas, or carrots in fried rice and the like. Nothing like that will be found here. That being said, I don't make my own Chinese food too well, so, considering that, I guess the convenience was nice. The other nice thing was the free chicken on a stick! It was pretty good, we almost thought we got someone else's food because we didn't order it, but when it says free on it, it's easy to put two and two together to see, free chicken on a stick! All that to say, I don't think I'll be craving what they offer anytime soon, but, the late night hours might...

I would give them no stars but it's not an option they wouldn't replace after they messed my order up they mixed up what I wanted was very rude and we got sick from eating a few bits of what they did give us I didnt have a phone to call n let them know so when I got a phone I called to tell them n they told me after I threw out the bad food that bc i didnt have the food still they would fix there mistake at all the one item we order was cold the pepper steak and onions didnt have steak in it I have a one year old daughter that gets into the fridge and a dog that gets into the trash I didnt want them to get a hold of any of that stuff so I threw it out they didnt needed to get a hold of that mess I never had a problem ordering with them before until now I been ordering from them since I was a teen I am very disappointed and I well not be ording from...

I walked into this place thinking how awesome it would be to eat some good hot chinese food. It's only maybe 10 degrees and I wanted to eat inside and warm up cause I walk everywhere. The woman at the counter had a sour look on her face. I order then take my coat off and sit at the table and wait , obviously I wanted to eat inside .She put my food in a stapled to go bag on the counter and said "here's food, here's food!Thank you" So I just put my coat on and left. Of course my food got cold. It was ok but I've had better. My real problem with this place was the attitude. You don't have to be fake happy but you also do not need to be rude .
