Beyond Disappointing.
We have gone to this restaurant numerous times, but tonight's experience makes us say, without a doubt, that we will never go back. AND I couldn't even use the kiosk on the table to submit comments as it was broken. I wanted my comments linked to my bill.
Let me start by saying, it was obvious that they were understaffed as when we go there, we counted at least 8 tables that were empty, but not cleared, and no bus staff in sight.
Our party has two elderly ladies, and we asked for a table that would accommodate a wheelchair/handicap. We were given a booth next to two large parties with screaming kids that were running all over the section. We didn't say anything and just smiled.
I took one of the elderly ladies to the bathroom and found that the handicap stall didn't have any handle bars. (those were in the non-handicap stall). The bathrooms were dirty with toilet paper and hand towels all over the floor. There was also water on the floor. Because of this poor set-up, I had to manually transfer this lady from her wheelchair to the commode, (that was also not handicap height). This was a very dangerous situation for both of us given the conditions of the bathroom.
Finally we are at the booth waiting to order. It took 25 minutes for someone to come and take our drinks order. Coffee was delivered without cream and we were told... "we're out". The waitstaff said she will get us some milk. But didn't return for another 20 min. When she came back, she apologized, and took the coffee with the intent of bringing another back with milk. She returned 15 min later, with coffee and cream and then proceeded to spill the coffee as she was setting it down, (luckily we had napkins).
We are now starting to run out of patience when she returned to take our order.
35 min later, the food was delivered. 1 bacon cheeseburger/fries - done correctly 2 quesadilla explosion salads. chicken and quesadilla's were cold 1 burger (I don't know what it was.. a big boy or something - but what was ordered was a mushroom/Swiss burger (no lettuce/tomato) - We complained and the waitress agreed to bring the correct burger and some hot quesadilla's. another 20 min later....the quesadilla's arrived and the burger with lettuce & tomato.
The waitress asked if we wanted refils on our drinks because we were out..... yup, another 10 minutes.
Finally, we asked to see the manager.
The manager didn't seem to care about the frustrations in the least. She re-ordered our salads, finally brought us napkins, and refilled our drinks.
I asked her what was going to be done with the Salads that she was taking, and she said.. throw them out. We didn't want to waste food, so we said we would just keep these, and she said. NO, I'll get you both new salads. She asked if we wanted to keep them, we said yes, and she gave us boxes. Then charged us for 4 salads.
When we complained, she took two of them off the bill.
I also mentioned to the manager my concerns about the conditions in the restroom she said, "corporate" knows about it as there have been complaints before, but there is nothing she could do about it.
We mentioned to the manager, that we didn't want the waitress to be impacted by this as it was obvious she was handling alot this evening, and she just ignored us and walked away.
From what we witnessed, this was poor management. Period.
The unsafe conditions, the relentless delays in service, the cleanliness of the restaurant coupled with the attitude of the manager has definitely impacted our desire to return to this establishment.
VERY DISAPPOINTED - one meal took 3 hours. I think we were...
Read moreI’m giving this Chili’s a two out of five stars. The two stars are just because of the delicious dessert and staff friendliness.
The service and food here was not ideal. I came today with some of my friends and was very disappointed in the experience we had.
I ordered from one of their deals on the menu which came with an appetizer. I chose their chips and salsa as an appetizer and they completely forgot to bring it out. All of my other friends got their appetizers in a very timely manner, and I had to remind them about mine.
For my entrée, I ordered a sirloin steak and they asked me how I wanted it cooked. I told the waitress very clearly I wanted it medium rare. It came with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. However, when it came out, the steak was very well done, and the broccoli was barely cooked, so it was chewy and hard to eat. They also messed up my friend’s order by giving him bone-in wings after he told the waitress he wanted boneless wings. They had to make him a new entrée, as well.
Both my friend and I had to wait for new meals while our other friends got to eat. My other friends were very unhappy with how their entrées came out too.
I will say that our waitress and management were very kind and willing to give us new meals, which was appreciated. The entrée they gave me the second time was much better than the first time. The steak and broccoli were cooked properly. However, it was an inconvenience to not only me, but my friends to have to wait for new entrées.
We ordered dessert and it was very good. The one complaint I have about that is my friend ordered a cup of coffee with his dessert and they completely forgot about that. Throughout the meal, we had to remind our waitress multiple times about missing items we ordered. Also, our orders were not written down, which I feel would’ve made it easier for the staff to remember.
Overall, I am very displeased with our dining experience and the quality of the food. I will say thank you to the staff for fixing their mistakes, but do hope in the future that they do a better job of listening and tending...
Read moreWas interviewed here for a Line Cook Position after seeing an Ad claiming they pay $800 per week. During the interview, the manager kept complaining it was impossible to find employees and that everyone quits after only a couple weeks. I was excited for the job and wanted to start. Suddenly I was told my "Full-Time" position actually has the hours of a part time, as asking for 30+ hours isnt possible. Next, they lied about the pay as well. Hugely. They claim they pay 800 a week, yet they only pay their cooks $17 an hour, and I had to try to negotiate just for that. At 40 hours a week youd make less than $600 and they straight up tell you youll never ever make 40 hours. They adveritise 800 a week just to hand you checks less than HALF what they promise. Lastly, after hiring me and agreeing to a start date, they avoided contact with me for a week despite promising a phone meeting. The next week, they called to say sorry and set up a 2nd meeting date. Come a week later, they never call again just to do the same and try to reschedule. So, theyre crying that they cant find anyone to work for them, yet the manager is a pathological liar who knows he has to be dishonest about his work practices or no one would apply. Hes so uncoordinated he cant set up a phone meeting. He also pays his workers less than half the salary he adveritised. Lastly he has workers that desperately need money and want hours, yet he refuses to give them hours while hiring new part time employees just to screw over his current workers and save his own greedy wallet. This restaraunt is run by the very worst types of people. You can tell why the parking lot is...
