I have ordered from Peppinos in the past and loved the food. However today I was disgusted with the way the managers at the restaurant acted towards me.
so we ordered food today for delivery and when the food arrived there were two orders that were not the right thing. we ordered online Buffalo wings and what we got was boneless wings (wings are the same price). somehow when the confirmation page was emailed the order was changed , because we specifically clicked BUFFALO WINGS because we do not eat boneless.As soon as we realized that the food was wrong after it was delivered we called back the restaurant right away and told them what happened. The man on the phone was very rude and basically told me that it was my fault and they could not do anything about it because they cant re-sell them. He said if it was their mistake then they would remake the wings but because we supposedly ordered wrong then its our fault. I tried to tell him repeatedly that we DID click on the right wings and it showed buffalo wings but then when the email was sent after placing order it comes up as boneless. so there may have been a technical error with the online system.I asked them if they would be able to switch the wings because this is not what we paid for and they told me NO. They said that because it was ordered wrong that it had nothing to do with them and if I wanted to change the wings which we never even touched we would have to pay for a whole new set of wings AGAIN. while going back and forth on the phone I asked to speak with the manager at that point then because I felt that the person I was speaking with was just very rude. Which then the call was disconnected because they hung up on me.
so I called back, and then got a woman on the phone and I tried to speak with her to explain and she became rude as well and said they cant re-sell the wings so they cant changed them. I asked her then if I could get my money back and she told me NO. So basically they wouldn't change the wings and refused to give me back my money. I then asked her to speak with the manager and at that point she told me that the manager was not there and if I wanted to speak with them I would have to call back later.
so now I am at the point where I am totally disgusted with these people and how they treat their customers. There was a simple error with the wrong type of wings, all that had to be done was switch them. So within 10 minutes I drive to the restaurant and when I walked in I brought back the food that they delivered and I showed them that we did not eat the food and every boneless wing they put in the box is still accounted for. The woman i spoke with on the phone was behind the counter, I asked to speak with the manager ONCE AGAIN and she then tells me now that SHE is the manager. So now I continue to ask her if she could please just switch the wings because we already paid for them and they refused to switch the wings and refused to give me back my money. The man who I also spoke with on the phone continued to argue with me as well while I was in the restaurant ( there were other customers in there as well). At that point I was just fed up with the service of this place.Never in my life have i had an issue with any other restaurants changing food when there is an issue. There was no form of customer service nor did they try to help fix the problem. I asked the woman for her name since she told me she was the MANAGER and at that point she refused to give me her name. Then I repeatedly kept asking may I please have your name and she just ignored me. Then the man there now says he's the MANAGER. so I say okay , since YOU are the manager now can I have your name? and which he refused to give me his name as well. he kept saying its PEPPINO and that I could go look in up ONLINE and walked away.
I would never come back to this restaurant nor would I recommend anyone to come here for the simple fact of the rude service and MANAGEMENT. I never ate the wings and was never given back my money. I am very disappointed in the service I...

I've tasted amazing pizza to the nasty cheap ones (aka what we call school pizzas) and the majority of the pizzas here do not come close to decent NY pizza . Until I tasted the pizza from Peppino's. I can definitely admit it's like back home. Especially if you ask for it well done. If you get it fresh and fold the sucker in half, you can hear and feel the crisp. It doesn't flop over where you lose all your cheese and toppings.And their sauce has flavor. To me, I have not found another place that compares to home. And it's not over priced like most places since inflation. Definitely one place to go if you want good...
Read moreI ordered online so I could pick up on my way from network. My order was confirmed it was recieved at 5:50 PM. (You have to actually receive it in the resturant to get this message, I asked a local shop next to my office) I walk in at 6:21 PM and the last stated she just recieved it. I said I have an email that confirms it was recieved at 5:50, she then tells me a different story that the internet was down. Which one was it?? The pizza was great but I will not give them my business again! As I was leaving her and the older gentleman were talking back in forth about it and made me seem like a liar!!!!!
