Jack’s Donuts, for many people in my hometown, is a reminder of home. When I was younger my grandpa used to buy me white iced donuts and I remember eating the tops off of the donuts because I couldn’t get enough. Over time the quality has changed so drastically that I stopped going on a regular basis. Today I decided to treat myself and try Jack’s again. This was kind of the last straw for me. The donut was undercooked and mushy on the inside and the “chocolate” icing was so over processed that I could taste the food coloring and can’t seem to get the taste out of my mouth. I’ve always had a pleasant experience with the drive through and the original store, but I can’t support the donuts any longer.
