Hong Kong Buffet — Restaurant in New Garden Township

I'm only giving this restaurant 2 stars just because the food is good here. Otherwise I'd only give 1. Lately the service has actually been getting worse. It used to be so great, so what happened? The servers will pretty much hover over you while you're eating, they don't refill your drink all the way to the top, and they'll rush you out by bringing the bill to you while you're still eating! You won't even be halfway done your meal, and they'll just bring you the bill even though you haven't asked for it yet. And what makes things worse, I didn't have enough money on me to pay the bill in full because I accidentally left my debit card at home without realizing it was there, and so I had to go to my car to see if I could find the .85 I needed to pay the bill, and do you know what my server did? I don't know if she chose to do this on her own, or if her boss told her to do it, but she came to my car and started demanding I hand over the cash I had on me! Are you serious? Hopefully she chose to do that on her own and wasn't told to do so by who I assume is the owner. Because if the owner told her to do it despite knowing how likely it would have been she would have gotten her own employee hurt or even killed for that matter, she's basically saying to her, "Look, I don't care if you end up getting hurt. Just go get me my money, ok?" And if she is, that's not very good business practice if you ask me. Was she trying to suggest I was trying to dine and dash? I'm not that kind of person! I wouldn't even dream of doing...

Birthday hair in the food! Being that it was my birthday figured I would treat myself to my favorite food at the Hong Kong buffet and get some takeout. I had spent $30 between to take out containers. In my container about halfway through, which cost me about $25, I found a long black hair inside the sauce attached to a piece of chicken. I took the uneaten food and the hair attached to the chicken back to the buffet. The manager gave me $10 back, not even enough to cover the food that was still uneaten in the container. I chose not to get any more food with the $10 she gave me and walked out the door. Driving home I called the woman who was working the counter and explained to her that in America it is customary for someone that has found themselves in this nasty situation to be given another meal or replacement in it's entirety. She took it upon herself to say that perhaps I had placed the long black hair in the food after eating some of it and was coming back for my money. That's pretty funny considering this guy doesn't have much hair on top of his head and it certainly not long and black! Thanks for the birthday hair!! They sold me a long black hair with Chinese food around it! Thanks for the extra special Birthday takeout food! I went back with the hair and the uneaten food and they gave me a whole $10 back when I spent $30.27! She had the nerve to say that I might have put the long black hair in the food myself!! Well last time I checked I was about bald! Thanks for the Birthday memory!! ** In response to the owner's reply; The food is all underneath plastic enclosures, I seriously doubt the hair was from a patron, my guess is it was definitely from one of the staff; who all have long black hair, as they restocked the food trays.
