McDonald's — Restaurant in New Garden Township

I just took my son to this McDonalds In New Garden Shopping Center In Kennett Square at 4:28 pm on October 21 2020. When I paid $ 16.00 for two quarter pounders I Knew something was wrong also no cars were in the drive through. And no one in the restaurant. I did not complain when I got up to the window. A boy gave me my drinks. The manager asked me a few min later. “What do you want” I told him my food. When I drove out I went to open my hamburger and bit into it Grease went all over me my car and all over my lap. It looked like my sandwich was dropped in the deep fryer and the fished out and threw it on a bun. My fries were soggy and cold. When I went into the store and showed him my burger, the person asked me?” What happen to this burger? I laughed and asked him that’s what I would like to know? The manager was hiding behind the wall and would not come out and make this right. I did get another burger and fries. The second round of fries I brought home and cooked them in my air fryer. While I waited I had to go into the bathroom and wash my face and hands grease all over me. Shirt and pants ruined The new burger tasted like metal so I through it away.

I have reported this the Corporate office. And now am reporting this to every agency in Pennsylvania. I will not stop till they shut this location Down

7 months later nothing was ever done. I will never ever go to another McDonald’s again period. People should boycott this...

Had to come update and lower my stars as McDonald’s doesn’t have an easy way to make a formal complaint. We had a park to order, order the young man comes out and says 2 fries 4 McDoubles. So he walks away and look in the bag there is one fry. Ugh right no big deal so o go in and say to the sweet younger girl that came to me I’m missing a fry. She looks in my bag looks at the screen and goes to get my fry.

The manager on duty is like what’s wrong she tells him he says no it’s one fry she says the receipt and the screen says 2 he gets all upset she isn’t even going to get my fry. He then goes to the screen and says my bad.

She gets my fry and she apologizes, she needs a raise. He needs retrained. Not treating employees or his customers very well and all could have been prevented if the 3rd party person looked in the bag before he brought it out to me.

But maybe it’s better so I can make this review and they can maybe be aware of the behavior going on there. Please give the young lady a raise she is kind and deserving of better treatment.

Usually a great McDonald’s hopefully just a freak night.

Minus the paper straws this is the best McDonald’s I’d drive here over Jennersville...

Went there to use the restroom. It was very clean & well stocked. That's the only reason I gave more than one star. The rest of the place was what, in my limited experience, I believe is typical of McDonald's.

My husband got food in the drive through. They forgot to give him the sauce he asked for & the expected napkins.

I tried a bite of his cheeseburger & a few McNuggets. The burger had a soggy bun on the edge. The mustard sauce is different than I remember it. Not an improvement, imo. It used to be darker yellow and tangier. Now it looks lighter & tastes more like mayo.

I felt sorry I'd eaten any of the food. If we've been on the road with no other quick options, I've eaten from a fast food place, but rarely. Otherwise, I just don't.
