My experience here have been the worse. Every last soul was horrible. I was handed my fries which was extremely old and no receipt. After checking my fries I pulled back around and went inside store. A male looked at me and said “what you need” I informed the employee that I would like my money back. A female employee snatched my bag and dumped the fries and stated a fresh batch will be done in a minute and 50 seconds. I informed employees again that I would like my money back. The females yelled to the back for the manager and he took forever to assist. When the manager on duty walked to me and said the fries almost done and again I informed him I would just like my money back. A female employee said something I didn’t fully hear and manager said “ Ya know I don’t argue with customers” extremely unprofessional. I almost reacted but knowing I’m a manager for my company as I was in uniform And badge I provided a leader, role model and example of what manager is and does when under pressure, positions, and dealing with on coming problems. I kept my mouth clothes with the only words being said “ I would just like my money back” the whole time and observed every last individual there. Very unprofessional, unsanitary as one individual drinking while prepping food,another one just hanging over machine on shift and last but not least one who kept asking customers what you need instead of How may I help you?. Complete turn off and an eye opener big time. Read moreJust left the drive thru where I ordered TWO spicy chicken sandwiches and to add extra pickles to BOTH. Just the sandwiches. No meals. I paid $10+ at the first window and went to pick up my food at the second. There was only 1 sandwich with 2 measly pickles. I was told I’d only ordered/paid for 1 sandwiches. How was that possible at $10+! Whatever. I went back around to order another sandwich so I would have the 2 I originally ordered. One sandwich only is $8.49. This is my regular order though at various different locations and I knew that seemed to high. I just so happened to have an old recipe in my car and I was right. From just a couple days ago on Dixwell the same sandwich is $5.89. That’s a big difference! Either way, I was still a sandwich short and I was already there so lesson learned. I showed the manager at the payment window how much cheaper other locations are. She said they’re privately owned so make their own prices/have to charge more than corporate owned. Whatever. Good to know. So I pull up to the next window to pick up my food and they have no record of my 2nd order I just made on my 2nd trip through the drive thru. Generally, my reviews display some humor. Can't spare a kind or "Happy Meal" review of this visit. The entire experience was dismal and unnerving from the start.
The order taker has been there for years, but still can't get the order correct. Between my placing the correct order and what resulted, I thought I was in kindergarten playing "telephone". Getting it corrected confirmed to me that I was dealing with the "Hamburglar" and not Mickey D. And there was no redeeming value in the food which was unpleasant. Although I gave up trying to correct the "bait and switch" it ended with another insult that since I don't come to that store frequently, "... then don't come again.."
