GOOD. *Place to get a lot of the natural things you want .especially fruits. *Prices are reasonable . . BAD The food is horrible being sold .! Very terrible *they need to get real cooks or Caribbean or Rasta chefs that know how to cook vegan/vegetarian food with taste and flavor. . *I can’t understand using cheese in a place that’s supposed to cater to vegan/vegetrian and healthy . . *the food is devastatingly horrible it seem they have kids that are practicing how to cook ,cooking by written instruction. . *I can’t stress how bland, horrible and nasty the food is and I tried it many times . How can u get white rice to taste terrible How do you get pasta with just sauce poured over it to taste nasty .! 3.why are you using cheese and not vegan cheese for lasagna . . *if management or owners can see this Get rid of All the kids you’ll having trying to play chef and hire real cooks & chefs that have experience & the word will spread . If someone is needed contact me I know a few people. Vegan/vegetarin food is a task for experience and culture . It kids fresh out of a cooking course 🤮 I’m none experienced and my plain white rice taste 100% better than something that is being sold to people .! This should not be .nobody like to spend their money and feel unsatisfied : And a business should get that. Customer satisfaction is the name of business . . Two People told me it was the nastiest food they ever tasted, but I thought maybe Because they are meat eaters they think that . Omg I tried it myself and I can’t lie. One of the top nastiest food I have ever tasted is here. And the sad part is it looks and smells really good. . I’m a vegetarian all of my life. And a lot of place chase the dollar and label to get consumers and not one clue to food. Edge of the woods ..make a change that is necessary. Read moreI've going to the edge of the woods for years. They have a lot of healthy options and pleasant workers. However, the place has started to decline in the last couple of years. Just recently I walked down the last aisle in the store on the first floor , This aisle sales the dried loose food by the pound. I walked down the aisle to see this older (w) man sticking his bare hands in the dried banana bucket to fill his bag up( Yes they had scoopers right there, he simply ignored them and scooped everything with his nasty bare hands)! Also, the customer happened to have serval bags of loose food already in a bag. I'm assuming he grabbed that food with his disgusting bare hands as well !! I altered the manager of the store a younger (w)man, I watched him go up to the man and say something, then walked away, claiming he was going to throw the entire bucket out. The manager never threw out of the bananas in my presence. In my opinion the manager he should've thrown those bananas away immediately in front of the customer that altered him about the incident with the health and safety issue. For all I know the manager kept that bucket of dried bananas right there to continue to be sold to unaware customers as Mr Nasty hands kept shopping and went on his way.
Not to take away from all this store has to offer , they have a lot of great items ,has a lot for health and wellness (Due to my resent experience). Moving, forward I will not buy any loose dried food from this place, to many weird people in the world with bad intentions to buy this type of food for here after witnessing this safety issue for me to trust that food going into my body. In my opinion , I think they should either put that stuff behind the counter or figure out away to deliver the product without compromising peoples safety. Hopefully some changes can be made to better protect the food and customers without the health department...
Read moreI am very satisfied, but I do have some critiques/things people should know. Atmosphere: 11/10 Selection of foods: 9/10, maybe equivalent to what you'd find at an aldi. Not enough for everyone, but enough for me. Lot's of healthy selections. Prices: IDK. Just came to use the cafe and scout out for future use. Don't live up here just yet, but planning to visit this area frequently. Cafe/sandwhich bar: 7/10, Is awesome that they have one. Sandwich bar doesn't open at same time as store. Opens around "9 or 10" according to person manning the bakery. It's not 9:00, or 9:30 for that matter. Seating is pretty neat. Large glass "bubble", with nice view of the streets outside. Bakery food was "on par", didn't disappoint or blow me away. They could stand to move the wifi router a little closer to the cafe, since that's where people are most likely to be using it. Also, there are no unused power outlets in cafe that I can see, so if your laptop doesn't have decent battery life, it's not a suitable place to sit and work for a minute. Overall: I intend to return whenever i'm in the area, unless I find the groceries to be too expensive at...
