Went with a friend on a limb. It was about 6pm so you'd think the food would be warm. However, it was very evident that the food had been sitting out for several hours considering the sushi looked dry and the fish was practically jerky. Even food on hotplates was ice cold to luke warm. The selection was pretty small but if the selection is small, the food should: A. taste good B. be warm. Additionally, it was $19 per person. Considering the lackluster quality, this buffet is not worth $19. The most reasonable price was the $0.99 tea. Servers were unusually rude towards us. They took about twenty minutes to collect my friend's card. There weren't that many guests in the restaurant and the server passed our table several times while watching us yet never grabbed my friend's card. When interacting with us their tone was not the most polite either. Servers seemed to be watching all the guests as well. The eclairs smelled like cat wet food when I bit into them. One of the chicken dishes tasted sour as if it was expired or had been sitting in a refrigerator for too long. The best food I ate was the Chinese doughnut which is just fried dough and sugar, which is almost impossible to screw up so that's not saying a lot. My friend said the mussels were good, and that the claims had no meat and were...
Read moreThe food was ok. But went there with my husband and 3 kids. Been going here for years. But today we got charged with a gratuity ( which they rounded up even) but we basically were forced to tip $9.80 for a buffet. Now don’t get me wrong I will tip everywhere I go if the service or people are friendly. But here I had to flag the waitress down to even get a refill for my daughters drink. And she quickly interrupted me to state her orange juice wasn’t a refill it was a new drink. Which I new free refills were not on juices. So I wasn’t happy with the rude interrupting when asking for the drink refill. But then when I stated I’ve never been charged a gratuity at this place in all the years we came. The lady behind the counter pointed to the printed paper sign stating 5 or more would be charged. I asked when that started which she began saying during Covid. Which I remember them closing during Covid so not sure how true that is. But again we’ve been going there for years ( pre-Covid even) and never had this happen. So again I’m forced to pay almost $10 in a tip for service that was not worth $10! Not sure we will go back if I’m forced to tip $10 or more each time and have not...
Read moreI was there with my wife and we usually enjoy eating here. But today we had a really bad experience after I found a piece of hair in my chicken fingers. I showed it to my wife and we immediately called the waitress over. I told her nicely and quietly because we didn’t want anyone else to hear that there’s a piece of hair in the food. She was very rude and upset and yanked the piece of chicken right out of my hands without even asking me and left. Two minutes later she comes back with the same piece of chicken but no hair. She told us there was no hair and we asked to talk to the manager and she was even worse. The manager started screaming and saying there was no hair. My wife and I were very disappointed of how rude and disrespectful the manager was. She didn’t even want to listen so I left and my wife tried to calm the manager down. The manager was very rude to my wife also. This experience was unacceptable and unfortunately we are not going back there again. Panda Buffet lost a customer and will keep loosing more if they treat them the way my wife and I were...
