I wish I could give 10 stars to this place! My husband and I LOVED the entire experience and truly hope to return one day. The food was fresh and with very yummy combination of flavors! Olive and Chase are magicians in the kitchen and wonderful at making us feel welcome. The restaurant is nestled in a nursery, which couldn't be a more perfect setting for the food served! Note that may help others: * You'll eat what is served on the day you go (and the food is fabulous, but be aware in case you are a picky eater or plan on taking a picky child, this may not be the experience for you). * Mention any food allergies when you make the reservation via text message and check if they can accommodate your needs. On the day we went, our salad had peanuts, which for us was scrumptious, delectable and delightful - but a possible no-no for some.

This is a true hidden gem of Santa Fe. Olive prepares a fixed menu of lunch items, plant-based and often from local harvests, which not only taste delicious but are artfully plated and you feel great eating them. The atmosphere is cozy and casual - it almost feels like eating a meal in friend's rustic and very generously sized kitchen. She is pretty much always sold out, so reservations are a must.

I loved it but didn't know what was happening and barely had enough cash - so here's what I would have liked to know 😅 Its cash only and set dishes. Its "yes or no" not "what would you like to have." Fun surprise in my opinion! It was about $30pp for a salad and open faced sandwhich, both DELICIOUS. This doesnt include any drinks or dessert. Very healthy earthy vibe which I loved.

This is my first review on Google and I had hoped a different outcome would’ve taken place but as I never got a returned phone call from the owner or an email (after leaving a message and emailing) I decided to go ahead and post publicly my experience.

I had the pleasure of discovering PSW last season and had three enjoyable meals there.

At the beginning of this season 2022 I wrote as requested to text in order to make a reservation and was told there were none available which I found quite odd as they had just opened and the season is quite long.

I wished the Chef congratulations on her successful business and to let me know if anything became available.. never hearing back.. only to find out a couple of days later that four different friends of mine were successful in making reservations.

After that a girlfriend of mine showed up for a confirmed reservation for 1 person at PSW and was told that they did not have enough food and she was turned away. My friend was very embarrassed and left in tears.

I texted the chef to relay my experience and my friends’
thinking that I might get an apology or an explanation or an invite back.

Instead this is what she responded.. And this is an EXACT copy of the text I received.

“Your self indulgent, white lady entitlement & threats gave me the best laugh I’ve had in an age But you are absolutely delusional....to the extent of believing your own very crafted scenario, which is probably true for everything single thing that goes on in that entitled brain of yours And your harassing me Shame on you...AND your tiny bird friend”

Meanwhile this Chef does not know me nor she does not know what race I am and I found it EXTREMELY offensive. I might add I never harassed her
Simply texted her relaying my experience & my friends’ and honestly was quite shocked at her response.

After receiving her unfortunate text I left a message & sent an email requesting the owner to call me so I could relay my experience.

To date I have never heard back from the owner and I think my experience at PSW is disgusting.

I would never frequent this place again I can assure you and for any professional to be in the capacity that she is I find...

My husband and I were turned down on a Friday lunch at the Kitchen for not having a reservation. We asked to reserve for the next day. The waitress said that they are not open on Saturday. It is stated on Google that they are. She proceeded to tell us to text and no to leave a message when making a reservation. She could tell we were new to the place. The next week, I texted a reservation early Wednesday for the upcoming Friday. Then texted Friday morning to confirm that we were coming. We arrived unknowingly from the back entrance (both entrances to the place are identical with plastic curtains and Velcro for closure). The first thing we saw was a table set up for cooking and the owner/cook. She looked visibly shook up upon seeing us and short when telling us that the place was sold out. I tried to tell her that we had a reservation to which she repeated that the place was sold out. I tried to show her the text message. She shot back: did I answer you? No, I replied. She told me to “get out of my kitchen” by showing me the door and that if I did not leave, she would have me removed. She sure looked overwhelmed, without a speck of joy into what she was doing. Her behavior towards a potential new customer was devoid of any respect, professionalism, let alone business acumen. I wonder how she knew that she is sold out. There were empty tables and she did not ask for my name. It seems that she caters only to her repeat customers that she knows by face. Already a “closed” club where only a select few are allowed, because she obviously did not care for me as a customer, nor even as a human being. When I told her that I was going to write a review about my experience, she shot back: Go ahead, that...
