I’ve danced with Mina Fajardo for years, and performing Flamenco at Teatro Paraguas has been an incredible honor. Mina teaches in a traditional apprenticeship style and has trained many of New Mexico’s top artists. Her husband, Chuscales, brings authentic Gypsy guitar from his roots in Granada, Spain, creating powerful, traditional music alongside deeply expressive dance.

My family and I visited Santa Fe for Spring Break. We discovered this little theater to be a surprising delight of our week! The show, 11 shorts, was a potpourri of short plays, ranging from silly to serious to sobering to deeply sincere and sentimental. A major A plus production! Locals ought to be proud! The Friday evening show at 7:30 was perfectly timed as an evening engagement and grande finale of the day while still being early enough to grab dinner afterwards.
