Walking in we had high expectations- this place has an awesome atmosphere. The guy serving us was incredibly nice as well - based on those 2 things we would have left a 5-star review. But the beer was just okay, nothing special - got an IPA and a sour, and both were just okay. The food though was especially underwhelming. Ordered the caprese sandwich and the turkey club wrap, and both were the definition of “meh”. Not saucy or very flavorful, just a mesh of ingredients to make a wrap and a sandwich. Felt like there was a lot missing. Granted, the side of fries and tater tots were amazing. But the main should be of similar quality and we were left wanting something else. We were especially bummed after getting rejected with our dog from the other Second Street location further north — it makes absolutely no sense to not allow dogs at one location and allow them at the other, when both have ample patio space and serve a full menu of food. Confused but we did have a decent time.

We were a bit shocked at how long it took someone to take our order, we even started to question whether we were supposed to order before sitting down. The wait staff was friendly, but not super attentive. We had the potato skins w/ bacon to start, I had the enchiladas with Christmas and my partner had the build your own burger with tots. I asked for no pico de gallo on my enchiladas and they forgot, not a huge deal, but definitely annoying. Everything else on the enchiladas was good, except I found the red chile to be pretty bland. My partner really enjoyed her burger, it was cooked well and the tots were nice and crispy. Our experience was overall good, just not great. While we were eating, we noticed the table we sat at had ridges that allowed a lot of food/waste to get through, which wasn’t really pleasant to look at while you eat. I think we’d come back to try some different dishes!

We had dinner and drinks here recently. I’d seen it recommended somewhere. This was a great choice! First off, while the building is kind of tucked away among some warehouses and workshops, the facility is very inviting and spacious. We loved the patio (despite a couple pesky mosquitos), and the indoor looked great, too. The patio was where it was happening, though, so we were glad to be out there. Service was outstanding. We were greeted quickly and given waters before we even looked at the menu. Our guy was super attentive the whole time, and friendly to boot. Drinks were tasty, as is to be expected. Loved the selection of pilseners on that night. Food was excellent, way above what you’d expect from a tap room. We shared a green chile Philly cheese steak and nachos. A great experience overall. I’d highly recommend it. If I were a local, I’d be a regular.

Not sure what’s going on there tonight, but something Is seriously wrong. Was pretty excited to try this place cause the reviews were great. Sadly, our experience was pretty terrible. Walked through the door at 650pm. Stood at the door for 10 minutes before getting a seat because there was no one at the kiosk to seat us. The server was absolutely swamped. One dude taking care of the entire patio which was loaded. It took him 20 minutes to get to us to take our drink and food orders. At 745, with no beer or water, I walked to the bar to see if I could just order a beer and take it to the table, but the bartender informed me that it’s table service only unless sitting at the bar. I explained that we’ve been waiting for 40 minutes and she got very short with me saying only again “it’s all table service”. At 810 we finally had to tell our server we were going to leave. Over an hour in the joint and still no drinks. This joint is either seriously mismanaged, or everyone decided to call out of work today. I get it, workers who are over worked due to understaffing aren’t always going to be the friendliest. I honestly feel bad for them. Management needs to step up and take care of their people, so they can take care of the customers without getting fried. Drove to the Mexican joint down the road. Sat immediately. Beer within 2 minutes. Food in another 12. Second street management could learn something. You’re failing your people, you’re failing the business, you’re hurting your profit margins, and you’re failing your customers, which will in turn have lasting effects. Get...

Bizarre experience...my wife and I visit Santa Fe often from Denver, and we always try to stop in here since the beer is delicious. However, this time when we arrived, we ordered our beers and the bartender told us that we have to sit down to order more beers and that we couldn't do a tab. Odd, because I've never heard that any other time I've been in here, but I assumed it was a new policy.

We found seating easily, it wasn't particularly busy, and my wife and I sat down to enjoy our drinks. My wife then had to step out for an important long phone call from a family member and I tried to order another beer. I was ignored by staff, I felt totally invisible. Other groups started to arrive and they were served and taken care of. I tried to get the staffs attention and was still ignored.

I really don't understand what I did wrong, I only drank one beer so it's not like I was in there behaving like a sloppy drunk or anything. All I wanted was a 2nd beer and the staff at this place treated me like I was invisible and ignored me while taking care of everybody else around me! I definitely won't...
