I had seen this place while shopping across the street. Red Sox banner, looks small from the outside. Walked in and it took a sec for my eyes to adjust. It's pretty dark in here. Couple of other patrons on one end of the bar, tvs on sports. I was greeted by a cheery, funny lady behind the bar, very friendly. She mentioned how dark it was in the bar, and the beer was as cold as it was dark in here. The beer IS cold, decent price. There is Red Sox memorabilia all around, and coincidentally, a Red Sox game on tv. The bartender had a big jar on the bar with peppers in it, said it was filled with vodka, for bloody marys on Sunday before the Saints game. Pretty cool.
