I went to visit New Orleans with my friends on Saturday and after all day events I was pretty tried with no appetite and mostly order all to-go items. I've heard so many good things about this restaurant, honestly it didn't disappoint me at all. I've ordered Nirvana Specials Mixed Biriyani (lamb, chicken and shrimp), Mutton Rara and Keema Naan. Cooking was really goad and tasty. Like Mutton Rara because it was unique to me, Mixed Biriyani was tasty too, Keema Naan was good but I wish if they come with more keema filling. My friends orders different types of dishes like Lamb Rogan Josh, Goan Shrimp Curry, Mixed Grill Platter, Biriyani, Kathi Roll etc. All items were tasty. I order their Indian Spice Level but that wasn't spicy to me at all. Portions was small to me compared to other Indian Restaurants Our server was good too. Honestly quality of food and cooking will not disappoint you and as an Indian it didn't disappoint me either. There was some unfortunate incidents happened with the owner while one of my friend was making reservation over the phone. When She complaints about the conversation ( which was rude to her) while we're ordering , the owner came to apologize to her and it was resolved. While we were entering the restaurant around 7.45 pm they kind of told us that we have to finish our eating by 9 pm because there was big party of people coming around that time and they have to accommodate them. which was kind of bummer because we all want to eat relaxed as we were tried. Attentive without being overbearing, personable without losing professionalism, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu — Sherwyn made sure every detail was perfect. From offering thoughtful recommendations to ensuring our table felt cared for at every moment, Sherwyn went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable.

I cannot recommend Nirvana enough. If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers outstanding cuisine paired with world-class service, this is the place. And if you’re lucky enough to have Sherwyn as your server, you are in for a truly exceptional experience.
