This was Our Very First Time.We had heard about Haiku through a Few Friends and my Man Saw it a Few Times when he is Working. So We Decided to Go and Try it.It was Awesome From the Front of the House to the Back of the House. When we walked up there is A Sanitizer Machine Please use Before Entering which Is Excellent. The Young Lady Came out and Greeted us asked if we would like to Sit Inside are outside. We Decided to Sit Outside it Was A Beautiful Day.Very Relaxing And The Atmosphere was So Inviting. Our Waitress Name Was Rosie She is A Breathe of Fresh Air.We Told her it was Our First Time There. She Took Time To Explain the Menu to Us asked if We Would like Some Water and If We would like A Drink. Then She Came back Took Our Order. If You Ever go Ask for her She Was Very Kind, Polite, Professional, Respectful and Knew what she was doing and We didn't feel Rushed are Pressed like Some Places. The Restaurant was Very Clean from the outside to the Kitchen and Even the Restrooms. It was A Great Experience and We Will Be Back.I'm not a Big Sushi Eater but they Have other Items on Menu that were Great For Me.So Thank You From the Owner Staff and Our Waitress For Such A Great Day And Experience. If I Could give 10 Stars I Would. We will See you again.✌💖🦋⚘🥂

We found this place immediately after it opened in 2016, and had a rapid flurry of excellent quiet, mid-afternoon lunches there before we had to leave NOLA for Georgia for two years in fall of that year (tragedy!) but when we finally got to come home to New Orleans September of 2018 after two years of Georgia exile, we were thrilled to see it thriving two years later; having spent many years in and around the restaurant culture (chef husband) we know very well that competition is fierce and that even the best places can disappear. So glad Haiku has not. The food-still outstanding, the staff warm and friendly.

I’d heard good things about this spot and had seen such pretty pictures I had to stop in, however the food was just okay, nicely presented, but nothing to write home about. The atmosphere was so warm and cozy, though the service was a little less so. Everyone has their days though, truthfully I was more let down by the food itself. The yellowtail jalapeño appetizer was fine, but the rest honestly lacked flavor and didn’t taste very fresh. So although it’s not a bad spot, there are definitely better in the city around the same price point.

HORRIBLE service/customer service! I placed an online order yesterday. I arrived at Haiku 20min later, as requested, to pick up my order. Only to be told the order was never placed, DESPITE me having my confirmation code on hand! Also, despite me calling in prior to edit my order. When I asked why I wasn’t called back to be informed that the order could not be found I was hit with excuses...by the same person who I spoke with to edit the order! Apparently, “I’m new here” should suffice such an inconvenience. I asked to speak to the manager and was greeted by the same new employee with her manager on speaker phone. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Eventually, more than halfway into my lunch break, I was told that the order would be manually put into the system and they would deliver it to my job (LITERALLY NEXT DOOR). I was also told it would only take 10mins. I receive a phone call 30min later telling me that my order was ready for PICK UP! I politely remind the “new employee”, who refused to give her name, of our agreement of NEXT DOOR delivery and she says that she would see what she could do but again reminded me that my order was available for pick up. My food was never delivered, and I could not pick up being that my lunch break was beyond over at this point. I waisted over $33 for NOTHING. PLEASE SAVE YOUR...

Our dining experience was horrible from the start. To begin with, they used Windex to sanitize the table. We ordered 2 lychee martinis to begin with, that was a mistake. We were served an overly sweet concoction that had little to no alcohol in it nor a lychee fruit that it is customarily served with, instead it was served with a cherry. It was obvious that the owner was playing bartender this evening, which happened to be my wife"s birthday. My wife and I asked the waitress to take the horrible drinks back. Minutes later the owner who had made the drinks came and asked us, with an attitude, what was wrong with the drinks. I told him they were the worst lychee martinis we have ever had. So we ordered some sake instead, the sake was great. We ordered the calamari and edemame to start with. Both of these items had absolutely no salt whatsoever on them, and the calamari consisted of 4 measly pieces on top of the the two unsalted onion rings. In all fairness the rolls were good. We informed the waitress that it was my wife's birthday and they did nothing for her. A scoop of ice cream with a candle in it would have sufficed, instead we were not even asked about dessert, but were quickly handed the incorrect bill. I will never go back to this s___t show! A well deserved 1...
