Generally love this bar, but had a really whack interaction with someone who must be a new bartender (or was having a tough day). If you can’t figure out that two is 20% of ten then I have a feeling it’s gonna be a rough gig. I’m sorry for asking you for quarters for the pool table that exists to be played in the bar; I was intending on sticking around and opening a tab with a card after my cash ran out, but that was soured swiftly.
If you feel underpaid, your frustration would be better directed at management rather than towards someone who was trying to relax with friends from the neighborhood. I even attempted to talk with you and come to an understanding, but direct (not passive) communication seemed to be foreign to you, so here we are.
P.S. Adding a straw to a gin and tonic doesn’t make you the next...
Read moreI really liked the look and feel of this bar. Its fairly large and open inside with plenty of seating. Another place that had a classic speakeasy appearance, but still maintained it's neighborhood bar appeal. Cheap beer plus classy cocktails, how can you go wrong? There are plenty of distractions, pool, darts, video poker etc...I can't wait until I can get a chance to hangout here more often and chat...
