If I order food in the drive thru and you give me the wrong order, then you admit that it was the wrong order, I am not at all obligated to return the wrong to you.(not to mention I went home and had to come back) YOU however are obligated to either refund me in full, or give me the correct order as shown on my receipt. To tell me that you won't give me neither until I return the wrong order is laughable. To call the police when I refuse really told the level of ignorance I was dealing with from that manager. Then the tired officer that came told me to give the food back and she even tried to trick me into giving her the food so she could throw it away to get my refund.( yes she said she was going to throw it away and not even give it to manager) Thankfully I knew better than to give it to her. She then told me that Burger King policy was to give the food back before I could get my refund or my correct order ( imagine that! BK policy is to keep your money hostage off of their mistakes). How convenient for the cop and this manager to come up with some policy out of thin air. I asked for a copy of it, but they couldn't produce anything to back them up. I had a receipt and an admission that it was the wrong order. Insane! Neither the goofball manager or the goofball cop were helpful. So I went to the BK app and was immediately able to get a refund and keep incorrect order. Don't ever let manager admit your order was wrong and tell you to return the wrong one or no refund! Even if I did keep the food, I if was owed some type of refund because what was in the bag didn't equal what I paid!!!!! ( i could totally understand giving it back if it's the correct order and I was complaining, I paid for the correct order so of course give it back for a refund, what was in my bag I didn't pay for it dont...
Read morePulled up to drive thru. Was greeted immediately but told to "hold on just one second". 7 minutes later, I gave my order. After finishing my order, there was silence for about 2 min, until I heard "you can pull forward...you had the number 2 right?" I pulled forward, to see the car in front of me handing fries back through the window to the cashier, who then handed them onion rings. Well thats pretty damn disgusting, but didn't bother me too bad since I had ordered onion rings myself.
I pulled up, and my order was handed to me. Of course, it was wrong, and I had fries in my bag. I told her that my order was wrong, and I had onion rings. Her response was "You gonna wait 3 minutes for em?" (in a snarky way). My response was, "hell I've been waiting 10 minutes already anyway, what's another 3 gonna matter?" She requested I hand her the fries back.
This time, I educated the employee that this was a health code violation. Accepting anything through the drive thru window, much less the food she served me, was against health code. She seemed puzzled, but I assured her I had management experience in fast food, so she could trust me.
The employee wasn't overly bad (trust me, I've encountered worse), but where the hell was the manager? The drive thru times must have been somewhere around 10-15 minutes. I'm sure the manager was in the office doing nothing. I feel sorry for the cars stacked behind me that ordered fries.

Read moreI arrived at the drive-thru at approximately 10:32 a.m. proceed to order with my coupon which was a snack box which included a cheeseburger, eight piece nuggets, fries and drink. The gentleman that came on the speaker said they were not ready without asking me my order. He said you must come back, because we are not ready. I'm like no it's after 10:30 you should be ready for lunch. He stated it again, well you have to come back I'm not ready. Okay fine drives up to the window and look into the store and he is leaning on the drive thru sandwich board on his phone plugged into the wall socket there.
Then a young lady comes to the window I asked her what was his name because he says it was Kevin Garner and she said oh no that's not Kevin so now they're playing games still yet it no order and he is saying we are not ready you have to come back well by now it's 10:40 and I'm sitting on the timer waiting patiently right then he said what you want me to do which part you didn't understand you got to come back.
It wasn't that busy if I'm still on the timer at this time sitting there waiting for somebody to say can I take your order or we're ready take your order. This young man with the blue shirt on open the windows and tells me at this point I have to go around because he cannot take my order at the window at this time 10 45 I just decided to pull off the lot and go next door to McDonald's.
