The customer service here is subpar. The two cashiers in the front have had attitudes the few times I've came by. The food is here really high. And yes, you could say "Take your business else where, or cook it yourself". These statements are true. But why does establishments like this one try to take advantage of their customers? You could have a better business if you made prices reasonable, and were courteous. After all it is due to the customers that you have a successful business or not. Capt. Sal's sell "1lb" snowcrab legs for $20-25 when you could get a 2lb box of snowcrab for $20 or slightly less. The crab legs were insanely salty, so much so I couldn't enjoy eating it and the corn I ate once tasted old. I was also overcharged, it seems as if they will change the prices depending on who you are and how you...

Not sure what shrimp these people are getting from here, but they have NO EARTHLY IDEA HOW TO BOIL SHRIMP! IT'S AWFUL! Y'all should be banned from ever representing New Orleans food! Pathetic excuse for boiled seafood! I spent $80 on boiled shrimp to bring to Mississippi 9nly to find out when we got there and ate one they were DISGUSTING PASTE!! I CALLED AND CALLED AND NO ONE WOULD ANSWER, NO DOUBT BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOUR SELLING NASTY INEDIBLE SHRIMP!! THANKS ALIT FOR RUINING THE EVENING. Unfortunately, it was a weekend and I didn't want bad shrimp smell in my fridge or I would have brought them all back! LESSON LEARNED! I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AND ABSOLUTELY NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR SO CALLED...

This place took the cake for having the best seafood in terms of flavor, quality, and authenticity. The Captain Combo was by far the homerun hitter here (sometimes you gotta venture out the city and go the cut to get some great eats) and I was beyond satisfied with the customer service and the portion of food that came with it. The crawfish boudin was magnificent. The gumbo was the deal sealer there (the best in New Orleans in opinion). And the soft shell crab was excellent (you can literally eat the entire crab shell and all). When I come back to New Orleans (or past through) I will be back to get the boiled crabs and the crawfish and corn. Great job...

HOT DIGGITY DAMN! This place SLAPS! and shhhhh don’t tell anyone I cheated and ate some fish! How could I pass it up in New Orleans! Shout out to this fine establishment! I am sorry I didn’t catch the wonderful gentlemen that helped us out! I went with the Catfish Po Boy on French Bread! When in NEW ORLEANS BABBBY! My oh my. WOW was my tastes buds rockin and rollin and begging for more! I dressed it up with the works and had a bit of hot sauce to go with it. Also the portion size was insane!! If you’re ever in the area, stop in and check it out! They have it all. I hope to stop back in if I am ever back in town! Thank you again!

Capt. Sal's Seafood is one of my favorite seafood stores. The boiled Dungeness crabs are not just sitting out. They sort of boil them to order, thus when you get them in the bag, you can see the steam. The red beans and rice are surprisingly excellent! The po'boys are filling on good bread. The prices here are extremely reasonable and the service is good. I do recommend Capt. Sal's and already visit frequently.
